Cant get Arthur to work

I dunno what to do with this God


If I put full armor on ares he both wrecks down and can walk awafrom 5 gods beating on him.

If Arthur gets 200+ protections he goes down like a sack of potatoes.

In Solo I try to match hit for hit on the blessings stacks.

I opened with Gladiators shield.

He still went down like a betch. To Chuchu...

To Odin..

To Mulan

I tried a damage build on him...out right nope.

I mean. It is so bad that it feels like all his abilities damages himself too.

Wtf am I getting wrong?

Arthur's weakest stage of the game is levels 1 to 5 before he has Glad Shield online.

Also lategame, you want more than just prots, you want utility and damage mitigation (Spirit Robe, Oni Hunter's Garb passives), maybe anti-crit from Spectral if enemy adc is building crit.

Hmm. But I had the oni garb. Didnt have anticrit but he was dying a lot to general damage in team fights by which I mean I'd combo into the fight and someone would just hit him with aoe and he'd die very easy....it was weird.

Ymir has more sustain with just thebes.

Ok I don't see a king Arthur match anywhere. However I see some Odin matches.
Long story short, those items you keep building are really bad on odin.
After boots, your first item or two should typically counter your lane opponent.
You need to build as the tanky front liner.

if you all are using smiteguru they are missing a lot....i don't use them anymore at all. i have been using stats for smite on my phone, because they are still recording everything. My latest matches it shows for me there are from 8 days ago. I have played almost every day.
