Kiss

1 X
Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both increased movement speed. If it hits an ally, it has a reduced 1s cooldown. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are Damaged, Stunned and Aphrodite's soul mate gets jealous, increasing their damage. Also, Aphrodite's soul mate gains 50% of her MP5 and 10% of her Physical and Magical Protections.

Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing damage around her, slowing them by 25% for 2s and knocking them back to 25 units from her.

If Aphrodite has a soul mate, an explosion originates on them in addition, dealing the same damage as well as slowing enemies.

If an enemy would be hit by both blasts, they will only be affected by the one originating from Aphrodite.

Overall startegy

Anybody with a brain knows that if a healer pops up in support, anti-heal is a must. And they are right to think that. Aphro especially suffers from this being that her heal is single target. But we’re not here to heal, we’re here to support. While healing will play a factor in this its not solely on your skills merit alone. End game you are responsible for mostly your own health with regards to both Love Birds and lifesteal. With you team however you are more focused on an actual support stance based off aura items, maneuverability, and sustain.

Also healing . . . . .

Wait what?!

Early game

Early Game is basically consisted of keeping you and your carry alive and have a nice little farm. Its pretty slow but once you are around level ten if everything goes right you should be just about clearing your lanes tower or in worse case yours is taken down first. Regardless around this time should be the time you start to rotate. Jungle with their speed works really well during the early to mid game transition since your Shield of regrowth will help with map coverage getting them kills and you assists.
BONUS if you have the lotus crown build during said game.

Mid game

Mid game is where you start to be a bit cheeky. Its around this time that you should be able to move fairly smoothly between lanes while maintaining a bit of durability while patrolling. This is when you start to support your team. No slow push or farm. Nope you are there to make sure nobody dies. Being aggressive can pay off in dividends but make sure you don’t lead your current smoochy smooch to a death trap. You may survive but they have 1 extra kill.

Late game

Supposed everything goes well up to this point and you’re now in late game. You are now a HUGE role in your team fights because at this point your purpose isn’t to heal or do damage, its to be annoying. Landing kisses can be a game changed during this phase since your birds are on about a 3-4 second CD giving you a nasty means to not only heal a chunk but to speed and def buff your team. With your speed being near if not at cap getting pinned down is hard especially with smart use of your knockback and shield. If your relics are upgraded at this point even better.

!AND VERY IMPORTANT!

Do not stop casting anything. Period. Mana regen and pool should be enough to offset any team fight at this point.

Closing summary

Being an annoyance is this purpose. Chaotic movements to dodge attacks. Low CD shields. Buffs out the butt. Being a distraction as a normal support should be but doing some dumb healing mechanics woven in.

Question: why do you stay in lane until level 10? Unless the enemy support is staying in lane and providing constant pressure, you should start rotating at level 5ish so your adc can get solo farm. This strategy will make you and your adc fall behind and is not recommended.

And I thought things couldn't get any worse until you pointed this out.

Another question for the author: why do you include the strategy of taking enemy speed buff? That's the most important thing to a jungler. You shouldn't assume the enemy jungler is just going to be so incompetent as to let you take his speed buff. On top of enemy jungler, you'll likely get ganked by enemy mid and maybe enemy support, thus feeding the enemy team a kill.

Sweet Guacamole! Bancrofts on a Mage support?

Rushing Chronos' Pendant on Support Aphrodite? Because not as if she already usually ends up losing lane and feeding?

Overcapping CDR in the first 4 items!?!?

Meditation Cloak on a Healing Support?

No...

You need to answer for your crimes.

In order to cleanse your satanical spirit I have a video formatted version of holy water that attempts to make an actual effort towards making Aphrodite support viable:

Did you forget that lifesteal is based on damage? And that this build has no pen, so therefore won't get much out of lifesteal? And you mention yourself that people buy anti-heal which makes me dumbfounded that you even consider Bancroft's Talon on Aphrodite. Oh and the fact that AoE mage abilities only let you lifesteal for 33% of the total amount.

No Magical defense until you stacked Thebes? Is this build against a 4 physical comp?

I'd get: CDR Boots, lotus, genji's/shoguns (if more than 1 AA-based teammate), thebes, mantle, situational (e.g. Magi's cloak or emperor's armour).

Can't agree with items like chronos pendant and bancroft on a support build. Not tanky enough for a support build.

Also with the limited item choices you can see they're a very narrow minded player.
