Introduction

Let me start by saying this, Fenrir is a difficult assassin for most. He's way different from people such as loki, Nemesis, and Bakasura. For people who have experience with assassins you may find it hard to transition into Fenrir. I'm making this guide to make that switch easier and help you master Fenrir, This is also for the new map layout for joust 3v3 from patch 3.1.

Pros / Cons

Pros
High sustain
Decent Damage out put
Penetration
cooldown

Cons
No crits(unless you get Deatbringer)
Fenrir has bad late game(Just how it is)
Not extremely high base but enough

Items

Warrior Tabi
This just a basic item on most fenrir or an adc or assassin. Just great for fenrir since he already has high natural speed.

Frostbound Hammer
great on fenrir just amazing. Completely amazing. I like building it early cause by the 1-8 minute period i usually have 2-5 kills already. So they are starting to begin focusing me and that health is needed. Also it helps those pesky ones from running away with the slow effect.

Jotuun's Wrath
This is mainly for the CD mostly and some dmage which is nice, Just another basic item for Physical type gods.

Titan's Bane
k by the time u get this item your starting to fall cause of fenrir's poor late game, People buying protections and Beads. We got you covered, Titan's Bane is the answer.

Hide of Urchin
This is the time were Fenrir becomes the abnormal assassin. You always need some type of protection of fenrir. By the time you get this you are in late game and people can counter you now, and kill you. You need protect for this.

Hydra's Lament
I prefer this over Deathbringer for me personally, Yes Deathbringer is a great item but I've found that Hydra's Lament works well with Fenrir overall.

Situational Items(must read;Very Important)

Magi's Blessing
This can be replaced with Hide of urchin, Only replace if the team has a a lot of CC or your not dying to much and you don't need the protection from Hide of urchin Make your decision wisely.

Deathbringer
This one is up to you. I will sometimes use this if the team doesnt have much protections.

Spectral Armor
Alright guys here we go the new items for patch 3.1. This item is for those dang lifesteal people and i love just love it overall. Having problems with adc, Hunters, etc. pick this up over hide of urchin

The Executioner
This is just based or your game play. If your going to get this switch it out for Hydra's Lament This item is like Deathbringe its totally up to you.\

Make your choice wisely cause if not you could suffer from it. So practice knowing what you need and what you dont. Also find your own play style.

Skills(Recommended READ)

Alright right here is the basis of what you need to know and how to play Fenrir
I'll start with Your passive first

Your passive is literally the greatest thing to exist on Fenrir. We want to make maximum use of it. In the new layout for joust there are less camps to hit up to get your passive up, (Each Basic attack activates 1 rune (max 5) If you kill an enemy god all your runes are activated automatically). So to make use of this all you have to do is as long as your mage doesnt take the mana camp just continuously hit it but dont kill it if you do then go to the other one. Your mage shouldnt need mana buff anyways by mid-late game anyways. This is how i keep my passive up as much as possible. Unless you can hit some minions, But it can be risky just walking up and hitting them with an enemy right there.
More about Passive
Ok so here it is
Unchained your 1 skill, when at full runes you can jump on an enemy and stun them for 1 second.
Seething Howl your 2 skill, when at full runes buff effect is increased by 50%
Brutalize your most important skill your 3, When at full runes deals 75% of your power to nearby enemies
Ragnarok Your 4 or your ultimate, At full runes your protections double. Them tower dives ;)
Combos
>>>>>> >>>>>>
This is a basic combo you can use at full runes remember that try not to go into a fight without full runes unless you know you can pick up that kill and get away smoothly.
You Brutalize on them then after it done if there still alive Seething Howl for damage then Unchained if they jump away.

>>>>>> >>>>>>[
This is another great combo i love to do. I jump on them for the stun (max runes) then Brutalize them to death and if not Seething Howl to pick it up.

>>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>>
I love this one i really do since it works so well. You ult them from behind then brutalize as soon as the ult is off then Seething Howl for damage, then Unchained if the "try" to get away.

Team Work

This helps a lot your team mates need to be able to deal some damage to the enemy, Your whole thing with Fenrir is to catch them off balance and with there pants down. Your going to be the one picking up kills you are the assassin after all. Your going to be ksing I'll just say that its one of your many jobs it happens.
But dont be a douce about it you need your team its what makes you get them kills so work with them well. I've noticed Amaterasu, Ymir, Bacchus, or anyone with a good stun and cc is a good match for Fenrir.

Summary

Alright guys thats my guide to fenrir. just practice at it and just claw your way to victory. If you wanna game You can add me CJMighty on smite, See you at the battefield ;)

You max Fen's 3 first? I prefer his 1. He has a ton of set up's that way.
Even though you can just stun people at level 1 Unchained. I just prefer it first because
it does a ton of Damage early Game. (especially to mages)
Other wise Great Build! ツ

* Replies almost 1 full year later xD *

His 3 does more damage than his 1 at all ranks assuming you get all 4 hits off. If you apply the passive the area damage is about the same (maybe a little less, you'd have to do some math with that 75% lol) as his 1

fenrir is all about the 3 to win, maybe a one for stuns and 4 for those setups. not too difficult compared to most.

What i mean for difficult is that he kinda falls off a bit late and that he is more of a bruiser overall.
Which can take some getting used to

Fenrir is not such a difficult assassin, and baka is pretty hard to master, so is nemesis, And loki has some depth too.

Yes i get where your coming from, I rarely never use exe but i find that a lot of people do. I'll be sure to test qins and see how it does.
I normally have my passive up everytime i go in for a fight which is why i dont do Seething Howl first. But if i see an opening ill activate it first and jump in if its like a solo mage right there will low health

Also on Wrath if i dont need beads to much and they have someone like Bastet its nice to have to stop her ult from eating my health up. Or for camps as well is nice

I do like your build on a lot of points going damage early and more a bruiser style late game.

However:
Titan's bane+ The Executioner is a really cringy combo as executioner makes bane less effectives (exe removes protections so bane has less pen) I would recommend looking at qin's gives more power and is useful against tanks

Also on relics/actives why wrath just like Hand of the Gods it's still pretty weak as a mage ult will still hit harder late game and clearing the buff camps later in the game goes quick enough to do it without it.

on combo's don't forget it's seathing howl (howl not roar) it also gives power so it's useful to use it before going into Brutalize (unless rune effects)
