Chapter Title

Thor is definetly a touchy character evem when buildiny vruiser or tanky or have to keep in mind your not a tank even with tank gear be mindful of your poistioning and make sure you have a way out if you plan on throwing any follow up auto attacks with your abilities. i personally recomend blink as an active becasue of its usefullness on getting in ww of dooming then hammer throw teleporting out for some quick damamge or a possible gank. excuse my spelling and stuff before hand im not autocorrecting anything just trying to get this information out there.
with the damage builds i have elected not to throw to much penatration and liesteal in the spec for a couple reasons. lifesteal of thor isnt the greatest. although auto attacking with thor isnt dicouraged he is definetly not a great boxer. strong up close yes but not hot and heavy with his auto attacks or auto attack builds. as far as penatration with a hammer teleport and your ult smash plus an active blink its pretty easy to avoid characters you seem to not hit hard and get your damage in on the squishies amd go. these builds are not locked in stone just what i have found to be the most useful in the way i play thor. any specific questions feel free to ask.

Seems like Thor is the oddest assassin to build but has more build possibilities, which is another good reason to play with him.

seems shifters shield is a controversial item. i am rather fond of it by itself on a few gods but i can see the point of it being expensive but what may i ask makes a good replacment for an item that gives 60 power or 35 defenses based on health?

I find that Shifter's Shield is good with Hide of the Urchin cause shifters is not a good item for defense by itself, and instead should be used with something else, making the god an effective bruiser.

I'm going to agree with the bottom part. Thor has always been about the damage output of his spin2win with a total of 225% damage scaling. being able to solo squishies easily in his stun time.

However shifter's is expensive it can be better then Hide of the Nemean Lion especially depending on the enemy team. shifter's is a good middle item because it either gives you 15 protections and 60 power or 40 power and 35 protections. it's also gives you more longevity against mages. (I'm to lazy to go into cost efficiently deep right now)

And nemean lion is pretty worthless if you have teams that are mostly ability based.

for the most part it looks like you took both my builds and buildt what you like. your right thor isnt auto attack friendly but i build crit on him only becasue auto attack savy or not not auto attacking on thor is a waste of damage when you engage ive gotten countless kills with thors auto attacks as for shifters shield yea its not my favortie peice hide isnt a bad alternative at all i like that shifters shield give about 60 physical power when above haf half so it mkes for a decent sponge item that lets you hit a little harder.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
