Your Combo

1. Position your Ultimate so that it's in the center of your focused target.

2. Use your 3 (silence and slow) on the target.

3. Quickly use your 2 (Goku's spirit ball) to stun the target in place.

4. Use your 1 on them as they're running out of your ultimate.

5. Finally, detonate your ultimate right that they are about to exit it.

** Note: Make sure you are standing in your ult upon detonation **

Items

Vampiric Shroud

[*] Provides good sustain and basically makes your 1 cost 50% less mana when clearing a wave
(each minion kill will award 8 mana, 8 times 6 is about half of
the mana cost of your 1.)

Tiny Trinket

[*] Get this for early magical power and also to lead into Bancrofts before boots.
[*] Tier 1 boots doesn't provide any magical power, but this provides a little bit to get
you started clearing wave easier in lane.

Shoes of the Magi

[*] You need this for a little bit of penetration before you get into your Obsidian shard.

Bancroft's Talon

[*] Great lifesteal item with high power.
[*] Perfect for turning around close calls which she specializes at...
-While getting bursted down by an assassin, you'll have low health that will play a
part with Bancroft's passive. Simply 3 your ground area whilst running away, 2 the
enemy, and activat your 1 while moving in a direction away from them to escape,
deal huge damage, and heal yourself.

Rod of Tahuti

[*] Need I explain? . . . Huge boost in power while amplifying your total power. A must for almost any mage.

Chronos' Pendant

[*] this item reduces your ability cooldown time and keeps you relevant in team fights, which you are a vital part of with your long silence and convenient stun.
[*] Also provides MP5 for good sustain.

Obsidian Shard

[*] With this and penetration boots you'll shred anyone with or without protections.

Divine Ruin

[*] This will be gotten only if they have serious healers, such as Hel or Aphrodite, or maybe an annoying Hercules (just a few).
[*] DO NOT get this as your only Penetration item, even though you will have built Shoes of The Magi.

Gem of Isolation

[*] Great for keeping tanky targets in your ult for an extra second while hitting them with your 1. >>> This would be for the purpose of getting huge damage out of your ultimate, something needed to secure those tanky targets.
[*] Also provides good health and power.

Ethereal Staff

[*] With the passive, sniping targets with your 2 to initiate a fight will damage their health pool severely and can even single shot squishies if you're a couple levels ahead.
[*] Also a good health and power item.

My only interesting tip would to be to practice hitting abilities over/through walls, it's very effective and funny.

Hey Pyro,

Nice first guide, I love Isis. I have a couple questions for you.

1. Does Rod of Asclepius have a place in your Isis build ever? How do you maximize Isis' passive?
2. Who are some Junglers that team up well with Isis in Mid-Lane?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm glad you like the guide and those are good questions.

1. I haven't gotten the chance to test it myself, but some are saying that Rod of Asclepius does not affect HP5 and therefore would be of no use with her passive. However, even with it's recent nerf I would encourage you to try it as it still gives good health and decent movement speed, enough to make you seemingly unescapable to fleeing enemies while also benefitting from the movement speed that comes while using your 1. Note*: I haven't tested Rod of Asclepius on her yet, but if you'd like to do that and get back to me I'd be happy to include the findings in my guide if they are positive.

2. I prefer working with Gods such as arachne, nemesis, and awilix for their CC to help me keep enemies in my ultimate for longer. Arachnes web and her stun are great CC, Nems 2 is a nice slow along with her ult, and a reliable awilix with a well timed 3 and ult combo will secure the kill for sure by pulling them back into your ultimate.

... typed this on mobile so sorry if there's errors :/

I appreciate the questions and I like the rod of Asclepius thought, if you end up testing out how it works with her Passive then keep me informed :)

Hope I was of any help, good luck.
