Hi, I decide to make this build because I saw that mercury has no really good build(while im writing this) and he can ba a prety funny and efficiant god! So I decide to take my build and put it online. However I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE GOOD im just an average player who got some advice and a prety descent build to share. Hope you will enjoy :D !!!
Oh! By the way its my first build.
So, first of all if you didn't saw its a arena guide. Could probably work on conquest I just didn't test it. You can test it on conquest and ajust it for this mode AND your play style! I played it in arena. First in early game(Before minions) usualy people don't fight they auto-attack their freinds. But me usualy im trying to do something usefull :) So I already put one point in 1-2-3. I'll try to catch a squishy god and 3 him then 1 and activate my 2 to try to get first blood. This is risky even more if you don't know your team. But usualy you can ask them or they will probably folow you. I f you get first blood alright it will be an easy game. If they get it(your team didn't folow) well you will have to work hard to win. During the game you will try to go get squishy and gave them to your team. But you are not a full tnak always remember that. So yes go in but if you are less or you arent in a good position just wait for the good moment. Because im half damage and half tanky you can kill everyone without dying, longuer but safer(less death always nice).
For the rest you will get the joy of finding your particulary play style I gave you some basics now you can go the way you want. You can even start on others bases. That's mine.
Startng Items:
I always start with the warrior tabi at rank 2 just to the speed. The pots is usualy for when I do early fight, because im usualy the first to go in im getting some sustain. The pots of mana is because early you will be ALOT mana angry. My case because I like to spamm my abilities.
Core:
The Frostbound Hammer give some health, good for engaging, a bit of damage and at rank 3 after you will have completed your combo you will have the opportunity to chase your prey while auto attaking. After this sometimes I'll go for Soul Eater or Hide of Nemean Lion. If ewverything goes very well you will get the posibility to go straight away for Soul Eater and you will continue of snowballing. If you are doing ok or bad I suggest to go for Hide of Nemean Lionbecause if you die fast you will never engage and you will fall even more behind but if you dont die fast you will give the opportunity to your team to get kills. if they are massively Mage then go for Stone of Gaia.
End:
Finaly I'll take Adventurer's Blade and Stone of Gaia. The Adventurer's Blade for all the damage and little health. Then Stone of Gaia too counter Mage's and with all your health stacked you will get 2% of your Max health every five second for even more durability.

For the moment there's not really more to say.
If theres any advice you can tell me just don't say : BULL$HIT MAN YOU S**K(Dosent't really help me to get better)

For the text I clearly agree with you im really bad in english.
However the build isn't bad. I played against a mercury who builded exactly as you said and I just owned him. Why im building tanky its because yeah, you are an assassin however there's an abilitie to go in but not to go out. Trust me, even with that build I die cause I go in. But yeah two different way to play ;)
On the other side saying Isn't legitimate. First, I put alot of effort and wasted time on it.(I say wasted cause 1/5 totaly suck. And second you didnt even tested it out. How can you know it dosen't work? Finaly downvoting because its not your play style is completly immature.

As for the actual guide itself, the item and "Play style/Skillz/Ect" section is unorganized and unpleasant to read in equal parts.
