Medusa build season 5 arena & joust

Curious, stefooz123, are you suggesting The Executioner as first item? If so, this is not a good place for it.

I personally don't like getting Odysseus' Bow early in a build in most cases. You've indicated this build is for arena and joust, and in those modes, you'll have 2-4 other teammates helping to clear minion waves, so you don't need the chain lightning for that. Sure, it'll be okay for teamfighth, but the passive damage boost is increased with higher power, and so again, you'll see better effect later in a build.

Where O-Bow is a full commitment to basic attacks, your next item is Jotunn's Wrath, which is the opposite. I can understand trying for a hybrid build, but if you're doing that, then one of these two items should go. A proper hybrid item would be Transcendence, which provides high mana and some CDR for ability use, but the high power is also functional for basic attacks. If you get Trans, you can combine with other hybrid items (like The Crusher, since it provides attack speed and a passive that boosts ability damage) or commit from there toward basics (get The Executioner, Qin's Sais, crit items, O-Bow) or toward ability use ( Jotunn's Wrath, maybe Hydra's Lament, Titan's Bane).

As the build stands, it just doesn't seem efficient.
