If his axe is out from Thunder Strike, he will first leap to the axe location, doing 50% base damage to enemies he passes through and then executing his spin attack. This dash can go through walls.

If his axe is out from Thunder Strike, a rainstorm will also spawn at that location. Enemies caught in the area of both rainstorms will have the Movement Slow and Attack Speed Reduction applied twice.

Welcome to my build for Chaac!

Chaac is one of my favorite gods in smite and I want everyone to enjoy him as I do.

This is my first smite build, and I update this build based on feedback. Feel free to comment on things that should be added/edited.

I tried to make this fun and competitive so have fun. These are only suggestions so try new things.

Starter


Warrior's Blessing is great for providing some extra protection, health, and mana early game. Even though Chaac has abilities that help with his mana and health. It just makes him an even harder target to kill at the beginning of the game.


Item 1


Genji's Guard might be a weird start to most people but I feel like it is necessary for playing the early game. Chaac is a little squishy when it comes to magical gods so this item evens out the playing field.


Item 2


Warrior Tabi is pretty self-explanatory. Chaac doesn’t need attack speed; all he needs is some more physical power.


Item 3


Blackthorn Hammer is generally what I use when we are either ahead or when I'm not dying. It gives Chaac health, physical power, and a lot of mana. I only go to Breastplate of Valor if I need the extra physical protection.

Please correct your skill leveling. You have 4 in Torrent and 6 in Rain Dance.

Also, still feel you're lacking in prots. In a general sense your build progression is okay. Maybe Regrowth is a bit early, but is a fun utility item for him. Mantle by itself is not enough magical protection for a god that is going to be relied upon to front-line. Frost shouldn't be a Shoes replacement.

Better regular item progression shouldn't see your first major prots at item #5. That's WAY too late, and no, Glad Shield doesn't count as major prots. You probably don't even need Glad Shield, honestly, if you're picking up Blackthorn Hammer. Yes, that was a popular route at one point this season, but you need counter prots earlier. BoV, Contagion, Pest, Genji, etc. are all functional early items, and you should balance your prots with some of those in most cases before you go Regrowth.

I'd probably get an actual protection item in solo before Blackthorn Hammer and I don't know how useful Warrior's Blessing is in Joust. In Joust I'd go Warrior Tabi->bh->defense unless I felt I needed that defensive item online sooner.

Warrior's blessing is good in joust, I think. Especially since tanky comps seem to be meta there.

I think the main build still needs a dedicated magical prot item, perhaps replace Shield of regrowth for it. After warrior/glad/blackthorn you tend to either get your lane counter item - phys prot item (void shield) or magical prot item (e.g. Runic or Ancile) depending on opponent. Also with nerf to blackthorn it may not even be a priority item, especially if you use Chaac's passive Overflow properly, which should help with mana issues when paired with glad shield.

Also more counterbuild/situational options need to be listed like Pestilence, Brawler's Beat Stick, Midgardian Mail, Witchblade, Runic Shield, Genji's Guard, Pridwen etc...

Some example relics listed can be useful too.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
