Even if it's a bad guide plz do vote for it ; because i would do the same and here is the why , I'm someone who spend's time reading this long guide and i find it useless , Not only for myself, But According to what i've read for everyone ; so by giving it a thumb-down i do my part in preventing people from wasting their time , Which is really valueable for the author, So he'll be less ashamed ; i'm doing a favor for both sides.

Or, If i find it worthy enough to take a overall look at it at least, I'll leave a thumb-up, By doing this i'll notify the author that he can be useful for others if he is planning for further guides, and also people will know that this guide, with all it's lackings can give them 1 or 2 worthy tips they haven't figured out yet.

Hey guys name's Xbal with extra balls,When i was a kid my father and my uncle were slayed by gods of Xbalba because they made them angry by playing our pantheon's traditional and unique type of soccer ; And my grandma banished me and my brother (Hunahpu) from our home to live in jungle ; And i had 2 half-brothers
(we had a mutual father) who could define you the ultimate meaning of word bi..ch ,anyways, One day ((the shadows will surround me, 5FDP)) Me and my brother Hunahpu were sent to hunt some birds for the launch and we did so, But my half-brothers showed up and eat them all ; And because they were favored by our grandma , she didn't punish them ; so next time we were prepared and when they appeared and asked for the birds we told them that the birds are stuck between a tree's branches and it's too tall and we can't get them, So those two greedy things agreed to climb the tree and get those birds down And when they climbed quite a good distance We used some sort of magic to make the tree even taller up to the point were they weren't able to climb-down that distance so easily, So they asked for our help, we told them to grab their feet with their hands from their back like a hook and they did so and suddenly they turned into monkeys capable of singing and performing miraculous shows; Did i tell you what was one of them's name, i'm sure you'll notice who he is,his name is Hun batz,yep Hun batz and we fooled them to become like monkeys, as a revenge for all our sufferings, See we're very good with avenging, Anyways years passed and we became quite good hunters and Pitz players,the favorite sport of my father and my uncle, So one day we went to the place were they usually played pitz and we started playing the game, And you know what happened? We did the same thing our father did, Causing too much noise in that place which was exactly beyond the underworld(Xbalba) the kingdom of gods of Xbalba and it made them angry and so They invited us to play the game with them Just like inviting my father and my uncle for that reason, And again just like them we had no choice than to accept their invitation, We went down to Xbalba, We sent a mosquito (which was created from one Hunahpu's leg hair) to bite the gods so when they shouted their friend's name because of severe pain to ask help from them we could learn their names and greet them by name,The thing that my father didn't, After greeting them one by one and we playing pitz with them , We lost on purpose and each time we lost we were asked to face a challenge, And we passed every challenge they threw at us but eventually when they set us to bat house, A room filled with deadly and huge bats like Camazotz,Hunahpu made a mistake, See batz were trying to attack us and kill us so we hid in our blowguns, Our hunting weapons,but Hunahpu peeked out to see what's going on after all time we spent there, is it morning yet or not but a bat attacked him and cut his head off so after the sunrise we got out and as usual we were asked to play Pitz again,i knew Hunahpu is unable to play with his head but fortunately there was a rabbit in that field who decided to help us ; It brought a magical gourd for us and therefore i was able to shape it like Hunahpu's head , after that we went to the playing field again and we, i'm sorry i began to play the game , strangely we saw that they use the original Hunahpu's head as the ball so when We got the chance i replaced his head with that magical gourd ,but As the gourd took it's real shape, they found out that we tricked them and so they asked us to jump into an oven and so we did and we kinda died, our bones and ashes were were spilled into water where we became fishes and after some time we got back our human form , with different faces though, so we decided to get our revenge we started doing some miracles to entertain the people of Xbalba,The Tale of our miracles spread everywhere even it reached to the ears of gods of Xbalba, They asked us to perform our miracles to them, They didn't know us we had different face remember?, we agreed to do so, One of our famous miracles was to sacrifice ourselves and reborn again, When we did that in front of them they were so excited that they asked us to do it to them as well, We killed them but we didn't bring them back to life,by doing that people of Xbalba begged for our mercy, But we decided to punish them for committing murder against our father and our uncle, We set a rule that the Xbalba won't be a respected place again and it won't get gift and offerings from people of the earth.i don't know why the respectable Hi-Rez crew call me the hidden jaguar sun but if you didn't know,i have to say that day i got a second form, Ladies and Gentlemen, from that day i'm the moon itself.
this is the part of my life Hi-Rez crew couldn't cover due to the fact that it's a long story.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to another episode of Raynday gaming, My name is rayn, Oh wait that's not my line, Yeah sorry, my name is Chaotic HeadZzzMaN and as the name suggest's everything is Chaotic 'bout me So don't expect any order related things 'bout me; I'm currently playing the game with the name Conscript2Theend, And lemme proudly tell you that i wasted more than half of my smite playin' time to gain more than 5500 worshipers on Xbalanque (master 10,4stars), Now why it's a waste because i could experience other gods too but i was so obsessed in Xbal's personality, And during this time i got 14 quadras and 3 pentas with him, And im not sayin' all this say i'm a pro,not by all means, I'm just sayin' this to assure you i'm experienced with playing him so you're not being guided by a an unexperienced person, well at least i hope so.
before we proceed to the next part, I want to say feel free to change my build and replace whatever item you see fit for your gaming style and Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts and experiences with these builds if you have tried it, So hopefully i can understand the weakness of this build and then i can improve it in future, It's much appreciated.

i had a better build for those who got an advantage early knowing the opponents will always remain weak enough, So you can sacrifice some powers and gain some considerable utility by using hastened fatalis and Rage. (I had a third build but i had to remove it) But now tnx to Hi-Rez that Hastened Fatalis is removed, We don't have that option anymore. And you might even find yourself in trouble when trying to hit and run from tanks like Bacchus, Starting from patch 4.13, So i advice you to keep your distance , That 50% movement penalty when you're hiting a basic will slow you down, Enough for them to reach you.

PROS

CONS

First of all as i'm sure most of the people who have played him at least for once know that he's NOT Ability reliant god at all, If you didn't i'm happy that now you know, Never doubt this fact.

You can't aim well? I'm sorry to say then he's not your type of character,Unless you want to bet on your game and deal that massive damage you may get from a critical hit, In case that He's the best hunter to build crit on, But it's ok if you don't but aim well then.
I also want to say it's not a completely bad news for those who don't surrender so easily, If you can't aim well, Playing Xbalanque is a good way to challenge yourself and eventually improve your aiming Maybe he's the best option in case that He doesn't throw arrows which are so straight and it make's the challenge more tricky.

Never try to save a dead man with him , He's a hunter don't be so sacrificing you're a hunter not a tank, Let them spam thanks!, Lokis at the first place and after them no other assassins come to one's aid, Just attack the opponents from a safe range and Never rush into the heart of enemies to help using Rising Jaguar, This is my best advice for you when you're playing him.


As mentioned in pros and cons section, He's very team dependent Having a good tank and another front-liner ( i don't mean ******** Loki (i like him in reality but not in the game) He's never there until he wants to secure a kill, By the way i know we don't have ks in arena, But there's a exception that's Loki, Also i don't mean Bellona because Xbal and Bellona are such a great combination but ... ,hmmmm, Bellona get's all the kills until the late game and when you reach that point There's no guarantee from me that it's your turn for the kills now, But there's more chance than before.

Tanks like Ganesha or Geb or possibly Athena are Xbal's best friends But Ares and Bacchus and possibly Sylvanus (in some occasions i mean) Are his worst enemies even when they're his allies Because that DOT like abilities of Ares and Bacchus (Searing Flesh and Belch of the Gods) overcome Xbal's Poison darts and Sylvanus's DOT ability, Wisps may do the same thing and eventually the kill goes to them, I know you may say it's not too bad but you're Xbalanque remember?The most accurate meaning of i want more kills and they, they're tanks So we come to an understading that we may risk many kills if these gods are our allies and, and, Bacchus is the worst of them all. (Ally or Enemy)

Wait you don't consider these advices a team fight style, Well you might be right
so if there's something related to team fight about Xbal is be a good man/lady deliver the most damage you can As it is your duty and Try not to die a lot

please pay attention to the to the fact that Xbalanque require's patience to become the bone-crusher you expect him from early game, no, such thing is impossible unfortunately. this is one of most important tips i can give for those who want to play conquest with him, My builds won't suit that purpose but my words do, And honestly i marked this guide as an arena guide due to the fact that he's useless in conquest,
unless you have a tank which you can actually commiunicate with by talking to him/her with apps like curse or discord whole time, and also he must stick to you rather than ganking ,
Seeking opportunity for the rest of your team, whole time.

also note that the only role he fit's in is Adc so don't try him elsewhere for your own sake.

Transcendence
This item, this item is kinda bread and butter of Xbal's build, If you're going to follow my guide of course, With it's full stacks Xbal get's 2010 Mana capacity (2110 with ninja tabi added) which give's him 95 physical power overally (98 with ninja tabi) why? Because it convert's 3% of Xbal's mana capacity to physical power ; tho, I have to mention that i've added the 35 physical power it give's you without any stacks too. Best physical power providing item in the game. but building those 50 stacks are time consuming and boring. It also provide's the mana he need's which is a lot boi,huuh a lot.


Ninja tabi
Ah yes ninja tabi It's a better option than warrior tabi because Xbalanque lack's an undeniable amount of attack-speed almost through every stage of the game, Unless you build the attack speed for him, If you didn't get what i mean, let me tell it this way high attack speed isn't a part of his natural capabilties, But the 20 less power you'll get in comparison to Warrior tabi should not be a problem for Xbalanque As he's a powerhouse and As mentioned his passive give's him 30 physical power so it prove's like an item.

ASI
Asi is a great item due to the fact that it's a cheap tier two item with lot's of benefits, Your main source of life steal and also it provide's quite good amount of flat penetration too
But take this from me don't tell how good it is to Hi-Rez Employees, the only thing they actually do when you admire an item or a god is nerfing it but not the f**king Loki

Executioner
Percentage armour reduction item with a good amount of attack speed when ; you don't want qin's sais , This is your must have item to counter tanks and melt down the very last amount of physical protection of weaker classes like mages.

Malice
Malice come's to your useless DOT's aid in the late game and make's it more effective and It give's you 50 physical power which is good , not the best physical power item but it's good, can't consider it bad, no you can't, And finally what make's it important to have is 20% critical hit chance that having it on Xbal is extremely beneficial.


death bringer
Death bringer is a must have item if you have already built malice or any other critical item, As it enhances your critical damage by 40% and it provide's 50 physical power, and ain't much else to tell, build this one item it's a necessity when it come's to Xbal.


Rage
IF, If you're sure that you'll get the kills to fill it's stacks build this and combine it with DB And have a nice 50% critical chance and 30 physical power ; But i have to say that if you follow my 2nd build, You'll sacrifice a considerable amount of critical damage to obtain more chance to deal criticals.


Qin's Sais
This item is a recommendation from my 2nd build and It's main usage is to be able to say SOD OFF MATE to Ares and Bacchus, It deal's 4% of one's total health as damage to him/her and It's pretty a tank countering item with a funny amount of attack speed and , A good amount of physical power , you'll need this trusssst me.


Titan's bane
A replacement for hastened fatalis much more powerful than The Executioner ; Combine it with Qin's sais and keep your distance,melt down everything,Good luck; Wait why you smell like a smelter,just kidding,ain't funny,I know really but who cares, Am i too chaotic for ya?


Poisoned star:
Aye, now this item is currently OP, work's extremely well on Xbal, the critical chance raise on this item and that awesome passive that already existed make's this item a perfect boxing item, which is Xbal's profession and he's better than any hunter (possibly any god) when it comes to critical basics, combine it's passive with Poison darts and the enemy has no where to run, it's time for a good beating eh?, you know 40% slow (max, considering slow progression of the ability) since you'll probably buy this item late game (my purchase order is highly recommended) be sure to taunt your enemy like this: you picked a bad time to tangle with Xbal friend.

Dead of night Xbal's passive
I've talked about it through the guide several times so long story short kill 6 enemies and get 30 physical power 5 on each.


Branching bola
First of all,in my opinion it's better to call it splitting bola But ... it's ok.
It's an ability which you can toggle on and toggle off and it has no cooldown and It start's giving you 10 power (basic attack power not physical)at rank one and it add's 10 more power in further ranks , up to 50 power, the progression is like this (10/20/30/40/50)from rank one to rank five.
Besides when it's active, on successful hit on a god, minions, their deployments the bolas split into two other bolas, one goes right and one goes left in an arc And Each of them deal's only 30% of the damage you dealt to that thing you just hit.


poison darts
This ability is a damage over time type ability with a initial damage and also it cause's slow on successful hit, It's good early game but it's effectiveness fall's off as the game goes further but the slow get's better, It can be used as a finisher due to it's far reaching range which is in a cone , Especially when you can't aim well at that moment and you wish you could hip-fire to cover every direction , I recommend to use this ability when your enemies are too low,
On health that you know you can kill him/her with it, Unless you want that slow it provide's ;
Besides if you find yourself in a melee range of a character don't hesitate to use it as i'm sure you'll get three hits of it on that god, With one of them doing the full damage and the other two doing 30% of that each(won't deal triple DOT or slow)
damage progression : 30/45/60/75/90
slow progression : 4/8/12/16/20%
cooldown progression : 18/17/16/15/14
Note: if you turn left when you're using this ability the darts will split with more distance from each other and if you turn right they get closer. NO ,I'm not a genius to notice this on my own,I heard it from somewhere in youtube,but it's right, I noticed it's right when i lost a kill because the darts splitted too far and none of them hit the target before she leaped away.


Rising Jaguar
My favorite ability really, you jump a distances and you can go forward or backward during that to adjust your damage zone and after a short delay Xbal throws some darts from his blowgun and damages the enemies in a quite big circle,this ability also provides a CC immunity when it's charged up. (SO IT HAS A CHARGE UP TIME)
Worthy to mention that normally this ability has 30% scaling of your physical power but If you have used Poison Darts ability and made successful hit on someone then it will increase the scaling to 60% of your physical power
damage progression : 80/130/180/230/280
cooldown:16 seconds through all ranks


Darkest of nights
His ult hmm? Unfortunately it doesn't deal damage, I repeat every one it doesn't deal damage. The most notable effect of it, is the blinding effect and the good news is it cannot be countered with beads.
The next effect is the 1s stun after the end of ult duration.
It increases xbal's basic attack range for 40fts (95ft with every hunter's normal range which is 55)
movement speed progression: 20/30/40/50/60%
but after all these benefits , being a none-damaging ability isn't that frustrating , if you know how to use it of course.
cooldown : 90s

Xbalanque is a powerful immortal, If played with right combination of allies and Undoubtedly the master of late game, If played correctly ofcourse, And after all he's a hunter hmm? Reliant on a good build, a good team, patience and constantly growing his power ; If you have done and considered all of these then there's a high chance that the game's result will be in your favor.
