Nemesis's Skill Order Notes Always put a point in Divine Judgement if possible, this awesome ult can make you super tanky if you use it on the support
and has an incredible chase potential.

Slice and Dice is maxed first, it is your main camp clear and engage tool, since the build doesn't have Hastened Katana as a core item.

Then you level Retribution for survivavility, sustain while clearing camps and easy Auto Attack-Cancelling (wich I'll be discussing later) it goes away after you receive a hard CC so be careful when using it on teamfights.

Swift Vengeance is maxed last because the cooldown remains the same through all ranks and you usually won't be using it for damage. (you put a point on it at level 2 for camp clear)

Notes Get Elixir of Speed and sell boots for Berserker's Shield or Shifter's Shield.

I don't reccomend this build for begginners

You don't have any defense in this build, so if you are getting one-shotted get Shifter's Shield instead of Berserker's Shield
(you can get Shifter's Shield at any point in the build, but Berserker's Shield is a better item)

Alternative Starter

Notes Upgrade Bumba's Dagger to Bumba's Hammer.

This starter relies on Bumba's Dagger for sustain, as you don't have enough money to buy pots.

The early Combat Boots will make sure no one escapes you,
and since you move faster you can gank lanes more often.

Introduction

Welcome to my guide for Nemesis, Goddess of Revenge!

This is my first guide on SmiteFire, I was looking at the "News" section, saw the
Season 8 Guide Contest and decided to make a Nemesis guide, because Nemesis
was my first jungler and I have some experience with her.

Now let's get straight to the point!

Pros & Cons

Pros:
  • Good damage
  • Good survivavility with her Retribution and Divine Judgement
  • Great camp clear
  • Awesome mobility and escapes
  • Excellent ult, shreds even tanks if your team focuses on them
  • Hard, but very rewarding AA cancels (Auto-Attack Cancel)
Cons:
  • Not much sustain
  • Vulnerable to slows,
  • Some meta junglers counters her
  • Can get bullied early game

Skills

Passive - Scales of Fate
With this passive, Nemesis can win almost any 1v1 especially at lategame.
You don't need to think of using this passive, just basic attack enemies and you'll be fine.

You will want a build that has some attack speed and high power (like this one) to gain/reduce power ASAP
1 - Swift Vengeance
Swift Vengeance is an awesome mobility skill, the only major downside is that it doesn't go through walls, so chasing people with leaps will be hard.
On the damage side, this skill is really good for a combat dash, it has big damage with proper AA cancels and it has two uses so you can dash in, do damage, and dash out.

2 - Slice and Dice
Slice and Dice is your main damage, engage or chase, clear and poke skill.
When clearing, make sure you hit the jungle monsters in the center of this skill, as it deals double damage there.
Use this skill when engaging, as it deals good damage and the slow will allow you to stick to your target, (since you don't have Hastened Katana as a core item)
Items or skills that prevent slows like Winged Blade and Arachne's Web
will be huge counters to you, so if you see the enemies picking Winged Blade
or if the other jungler has any way of cleansing slows, consider adding Hastened Katana into your build.

3 - Retribution
Retribution is an interesting ability, it is your only sustain in the jungle (and a very poor one) and your main survivavility skill.
The usage of this ability is pretty hard, as it goes away after you take any hard CC so you have to be careful when using it, try to use it when you're about to get hit by a big damage ult like Ymir's Shards of Ice or Ra's Searing Pain, it is like a better Aegis Amulet because it heals you.

Ultimate - Divine Judgement
Divine Judgement is an awesome ultimate, you steal movement speed and protection as well as reducing your target's HP by a pertentage.
If you are in a big teamfight, use this on the support to have the damage of an assassin and the protections of a warrior, if you are on a 1v1 using it will just simply make you win the fight, the enemy can't use Purification Beads because you still have an immense amount of movement speed, timing an Aegis Amulet is almost impossible as the ultimate comes out instantly, and they can't try to fight you because of the protections steal.

Conclusion

God's Difficulty: Medium-Hard

Nemesis is not an easy god to play, although not super difficult either.
This goddess is free so I reccomend you to try using her, at first it is weird, because you only have 1 damaging skill (and your dash), and you have a shield on a jungler!?
I thought "how am I even supposed to play this!?"
But when you learn how to use her you start crushing people.

The End

That's it for my Nemesis jungle guide, if you have any suggestions feel free to include them in the comments.

This guide has more than 12.000 characters (including coding) for anyone interested.

(Yeah i'm totally a pro player, not just a random win with good k/d/a between 4 losses)

I would ditch the Hydra's completely, it's OK but there are so many better options for Nem. Shifter's is great as a whole but if you're getting it you might as well take Crusher and rely on stone cutting sword as your main flat pen option to free up space for more essential items. With this in mind I would either build Nem like this;

Eye Of The Jungle > Ninja Tabi > Stone Cutting Sword > Shifter's Shield > Arondight > Qin's Sais > Protector Of The Jungle > Swap boots for Berserker's Shield / The Executioner

Or this;

Eye Of The Jungle > Warrior Tabi > The Crusher > Stone Cutting Sword > Arondight > Qin's Sais > Protector Of The Jungle > Swap boots for Berserker's Shield / The Executioner

Thanks for the feedback! About the Hydra's I usually sell it lategame for Qin's Sais
but I agree that there are better items to choose, having the Stone Cutting's pen earlier seems nice too.
About the Shifter's, I personally like to build some defense on junglers in general (without sacrificing too much damage)

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge shifter's fan at the moment with its high power and decent protections. It's just on Nemesis there are a lot of core items for her, being Protector Of The Jungle, Stone Cutting Sword, Arondight, Qin's Sais leaving you 2 slots for flexibility. Your boots already take up one of those slots and are gonna be swapped late game for one of the options I listed as they are efficient pick ups late game whereas Shifter's Shield and The Crusher aren't. This makes it a tie between those 2 items for your early to mid game item slot.
