Build Summary

Starter1

Notes This Start gives you good extra mana, health and physical Power. The new starter also lets you gain extra damage against buff camps and an extra amount of health for giving the last hit on camps. With this you will have Jotunn*s Wrath before Hydra's Lament which can be good for early games because it has 10 more Physical Power. As starting Relic i always choose Meditation but you can choose one of the other's if they are more likely to your playstyle.

Notes So for the starter you can pick one of both if you decide to upgrade. The Spear basically allows to kill Firegiant on your own on lvl 20. This is quite a big advantage if the whole enemy team would have to come and kill it. The Hammer gives you extra protection and pushes the passive of Hun Batz himself and Hydra's Lament even more which is really usefull on our beloved Monkey.

Hun Batz's Skill Order Notes So the skill order is really important at the beginning. You have to start with Sacred Monkey in order to get quick wave clear through your passive. After having your Ultimate its important to max. Overhand Smash because this is the ability with which you will deal the most damage and finish enemies off. After that being done you can decide which ability is more important to you. I recommend skilling Sacred Monkey to max. second and then the Fear No Evil. Somersault is basically your best way to evade from a fight, always keep that in mind so its not that much a damage ability in the first place.

Introduction

HUN BATZ! NONE SHALL TRESPASS MY FOREST!

So first of all I want to Mention that Hun Batz isn't that easy to play even if his kit isn't that spectacular (except his Ult that thing is nasty!) but once you get used to him and understand how you have to play him you literally wipe out enemy teams in teamfights! So i am trying my best here to get you a little closer to his playstyle since i began to really love this character!

In this small Guide i want to talk a little bit about:

- Skills (How to use).
- My builded Items and why i Build them.
- Pros/Cons.

Skills

Somersault | Overhand Smash | Sacred Monkey | Fear No Evil

Like is said in the Notes, his kit isn't that spectacular in punto gameplay but he hits really hard and his Ultimate is one of the best in game for Teamfights! If used correctly his Ult allows you to always kill at least one enemy when you gank or simply engage.

His first ability Somersault is mostly used to escape out
of dangerous situation with Hun Batz. You can also use it to engage an enemy if you are sure about not diying when jumping into them. Also it is Awesome if you have to chase enemies down because of its high range and the fact that it slows the enemy down for up to 40% for 2s if maxed. Keep in mind that it can be dangerous to use for engaging in early game and by yourself. It looks a bit different in teamfights when you have your team at your back and your Ultimate up feel free to jump in and scare those enemies to death!

This is the ability in Hun Batz's kit with which you will deal the most damage. That is the reason why it should be maxed first. It kills buff camps really quick and deals nasty damage to mages and carrys. Try to use Overhand Smash for last hits if possible. It Deals 295 + 95%! of your Physical Power as damage so you know why i say that ;).

Sacred Monkey is your first ability to skill because it jumps between the buffcamp monster and allows you to teleport to the target that got hit last when you press it. It also is a good Method to proc your passive which says that Hun Batz's next basic attack after casting an ability deals 15% extra damage. So to use this skill correctly you should shoot it then do a basic attack then teleport to the target and basic attack again. After that you can continue chasing or retreat back and be happy to get to poke the enemy a bit.

His Ultimate really is the best part about his whole kit because it is the ability that gives you big teamfight presence which is pretty rare for an Assassin! This ability allows you either to deal damage to enemies for free while they are running away being scared or even Cancel a chase of a whole team behind a mate of you! If placed correctly you can push enemies in and out of Towers! Be creative with this one! It is really strong and annoy's really everybody. If the enemy isn't using Purification Beads and Aegis Amulet right after one another they are probably dead if your team isn't completely braindead!

Somersault | Overhand Smash | Sacred Monkey | Fear No Evil

So at the end of the Skills section i want to say that when playing Hun Batz although he is very strong and has big kill potential you have to play a bit careful in early game. dont push in too hard, try to avoid 1v1's till at least lvl 7 and always keep an eye on your Team. Doesn't matter if Joust or Conquest always be a teamplayer with him since he is totally squishy and you have zero protection item whatsoever in your build! So be careful and try to get the Deathstrike! Tell your mates when you gonna gank in Conquest and stay at their side!.

Builded Items:

Possible Starter's

Bumba's Spear and Bumba's Hammer
So this are the upgraded starters for the jungler role i guess it's obvious why you have to pick Bumba's Dagger as your starter if you want to jungle. It allows you to deal increased damage to buffcamp monsters. Its on you to decide if you want to upgrade it or not. So Bumba's Spear lets you clear the jungle faster and gives you more hp for killing the camps. Bumba's Hammer instead gives you a decent amount of extra hp and helps you to push your passive and Hydra's Lament even more which i find really usefull and good for Hun Batz in jungle.

Death's Embrace
If you are a joust jungler you could use the Bumba's Items here too but i would recommend using Death's Toll while it allows you to deal extra damage and steal hp with your Basic Attack. I think this is a good option on Hun Batz on joust because he is a Basic Attack based character so this item is reallyin Hun Batz's favor. On joust its also up to you if you want to upgrade your starter or sell and get another Item. You could switch the starters with some of my optional Items above if thats more likely to your playstyle.

Jotunn's Wrath

Jotunn's Wrath is a pretty standard physical power item which can be used on many gods thanks o its good power increase of +50 now and it gives you 20% cooldown reduction which you really want to have on Hun Batz so you can cast your Ultimate once a minute at the end of the Build! thats what makes you really strong in late game. I like to start with it because it has no passive so you basically want to have it before the enmemy team starts to build defense and its not that expensive either so Jotunn's Wrath is a good choice to start with. Perfectly played you should get that with your first recall or death.

Warrior Tabi

I think i don't have to explain too much why you need this item when you are jungling. It gives you extra Movement speed and nice amount of damage and a little bit extra Mana. The reason i wouldn't pick it up first is that you need the extra physical power of Mace in the beginning of a game. Make sure that you max it on your second or third recall to have the movement speed as early as possible. In joust you don't have to buy them because your evade is pretty good with very high range for just a jump. I would recommend to dispense Warrior Tabi for an other Item which has a usefull passive or something. Feel free to pick one of the optionals maybe Bloodforge.

Hydra's Lament

That item really is necessary if you are playing with Hun Batz while it reallys buffs out your passive and stacks with it. This will let your next Basic Attack, 8s after casting an ability, deal 40% more damage plus the 15% extra from your passive. That means that your next BAsic Attack after using an ability will deal 55% additional damage! Thats huge and Hun Batz really takes an advantage out of it. So please put it in your Build and dont think about switching it with something else! You really need this!

Qin's Sais

This is where i think it gets a bit unusual for him but i tried it out and it worked really good but you need to keep in mind that this will cause you to have to deal more damage with your basics than with other assassin's. Qin Sai's helps a lot with making your basics hit really hard! If you understood how to proc the hell out of your passive and Hydra's Lament. This item makes you a Tank melter with your basics so even Guardian's and Warrior's have to play careful when you are around!

Dominance

Last but not least put this new gem in your build! It's a new item that gives Hun Batz even more strength to his basics and you are danger in the field! Go and kill Firegiant and Goldfury all on your own without dying. This Item is usefull and evens this to build to get the maximum chasing and ganking power to Hun Batz.

So all in all let me say that this Build is really powerful in late game throughout your Insane damage output and teamfight presence. It works really well but be aware that you still have to be carefull tho!

Pro's and Con's:
PRO
High damage output.
BIG teamfight presence.
good 1v1 potential.
Great Gank potential.
fun to play.

CONS
Very Squishy
Easy to be chosen for focus
easily countered.
needs some practice.

I really hope that i could help you guy's out with my guide!
pls let me know if you used the build and got some good games with it!

It worked really well for me, but maybe i should place more optionals for Qin Sai's. And Meditation is just dependant on my playstyle (i like to heal up my mates when i cross their lane i do it on almost every jungler) i guess you could pick the other three Relics too if it fits you more. But thanks for leaving a comment! This is only my second guide and i know its not perfect and maybe the Build isn't either but i'm doing good with it :D
