Introduction

This is for Duo lane Hunter build.

tested it a few times and seems to work nicely.

this is also my first guide so be gentle, but i appreciate constructive criticism

-Caziuz.

Items

to start off with I recommend using the following items based on attack speed, lifesteal and in general kill quick:

First is...

Qin's Blades due to the attack speed and the 4% extra damage on gods. that extra damage is based on the gods max health which also makes this item good for tank killing even from start of the game.

I choose Asi as the second cos of lifesteal and attack speed and penetration. the early lifesteal might not seem like much, but when killing small adds in the laning phase it will regenrate you slowly, but steady and ofcourse as you do more damage you will get more health.

Heartseeker gives you the little extra movement speed instead of the boots plus power and stacks. "i find boots too expensive for the benefit" if you play other versions Heartseeker might not be available so you could go for another item that gives movement and attack power. Heartseeker can stack for more power, but you loose half your stacks upon death so if you die alot this is not a great item to use and Warrior Tabi might be the choice for you instead.

The Executioner have its uses for penetrating that armor. Armor penetration is needed to keep up a decent amount of damage going through, if you do not get this item you might aswell just poke the tanks with a twig.

Deathbringer is ofcourse a must due to the extra crit, i choose to take it late cos when you have the 4 first items you are able to survive better to earn the cash and get the Deathbringer quick. The crit is important more at late game than early game and with this item you will start being the beast of love, you do not want to miss this item or the crit plus crit damage it can provide.

Soul Eater will help you eat them souls = Lifesteal and continue killing. This item gives you a little extra health pool and more attack speed aswell as the lifesteal. Futhermore it also provides an aura for your team, more power and lifesteal for those close to you.

About my active choice i usually go with Blink and Meditation and upgrade them when i get a chance to do it. you will want the Combat Blink so you can escape most instantly and while in combat.
The Purification Beads are very useful against Gods like Ares to escape those chains. Meditation is always good for that extra mana you can pull out of it plus a lifesaving heal at times.
so i would go with Meditation no matter what and then switch between Purification Beads and Blink as needed.

Skills

I selected to skill up the Heart Bomb first due to the extra damage it can pull off even in early game plus stun if your maxed on your basic skill "hit enemies 10 times" should that happen the get a 1 sec stun, can be crucial to finish off that God in a fight for you or a teammate. You will want to pop it at the start of a combat to interrupt him/her during the fight.

Share The Love. is maxed second and is also my second skill choice, the little hearts gives you health "yes really" and it also returns mana to you if an ally picks one up so in general its a win/win situation for you and your team.

Flutter. one of the best escape or pursute skills in the game, it is the third choice while leveling up from level 1, it is however also last to be maxed, you only need 1 point in it to move very fast, but it also grants you attack speed for 6 seconds after use, if you feel comfortable using that over the hearts i will not stop you, attack speed s always useful.

Fields Of Love. a massive area is covered when using this skill, people caught inside it will be stunned for 2.5 seconds when it goes pop, until then they move 35% slower, a really strong ultimate and useful for not only attack but also defense and to save your team members from being slaughtered. It will be good to use this skill in major combat situations, when people are clustered up, or to catch offguard people not aware of your presence.

Pros / Cons

Pros.
Strong survivability in 1vs1.
able to solo titan late game.
able to dodge most sneaks.
Strong late game.

Cons.

You are squishie as hell. "be aware of Loki and other jumpers, flyers and the likes"
If you play this without any skill knowledge of Cupid you might die alot in the beginning.
Weak startup so play carefully.

Warrior Tabi is a must for me on all physicals. It gives attack speed and movement speed, which is extremely important for a squishy character like Cupid. Heartseeker is an item that you only get if your doing well, if you aren't then you don't keep your stacks and it is useless. As an attack damage carry your job is to get fed, that's it. You are extremely vulnerable and having almost no Movement speed is suicide. Also again re-iterating what everyone else has said, don't have only one crit item. Buy Malice first and get Deathbringer as a finishing item. Asi isn't a bad choice, but I would never get Soul Eater on anyone other than Chaac and maybe Artemis. Qin's Sais gives shred, Qin's Blades isn't nearly as good at that. And finally, no to Meditation. Purification Beads is important if the enemy even has only a little cc, and Blink isn't a bad choice. The Executioner is an item I would get, but besides that this isn't very good at all. -1

Flutter doesn't make up for the lack of Warrior Tabi simply because it is a lane ability, and the fact that it's on a cooldown doesn't help either. While it does grant that burst of speed it's immediately lost once you're out of the lane path, and you're only able to use that speed buff while you're in the lane path. Unless you decide on dancing around in the lane path to catch up to a fleeing enemy, you're not going to come up with good results.

His Heart Bomb, while it does grant a one second stun, isn't enough if you're chasing someone who bought, for example: Warrior Tabi, simply because you lack movement speed. Combat Blink is amazing for someone like Cupid, but again it's useless if you're lacking the proper movement speed.

As I've said before, Heartseeker is a high-risk, high-reward item. If you're constantly dying in matches, while having Heartseeker, it's just plain useless, regardless of the small amount of movement speed it offers. You're better off getting Warrior Tabi first, as it provides more movement speed compared to Heartseeker.

To add one more thing: having one crit item is just a no-no. A combination of Malice/ Deathbringer, which results in a 60% critical strike chance compared to the 20% Deathbringer offers alone, is amazing to have on any ADC. Perhaps you should offer more explanation as to why these items work, why some are better than others, etc.. Oh, and you should have a section for situational items. That'd be a good thing to add in.

BTW I tested the build. I almost always do. Also, you don't get 2 stuns, you get one stun, before your passive empties. Flutter doesn't cancel enemy escapes, and a 10% movement speed difference is a BIG difference.

Build

Since this appears to be a build-only guide, and you don't seem to have put any gameplay, I'll judge on the build.

Firstly, Qin's Sais completely outclasses Qin's Blades. And that's a fact.

You lack mobility items. Your only crit item is Deathbringer. You advise getting meditation.

And the thing is, you don't give adequate reasons for picking the items, either. For example, why not replace Soul Eater for Malice? Why do you sometimes just describe the item instead of explaining its benefits? I'll downvote.

I appreciate your comments, but wonder if you took your time to test the build? as i explained under Heartseeker, i dont feel the tabi's are worth the price, the benefits are just too small over Heartseeker.

i will be testing out Qin's Sais over Qin's Blades to find the better solution, but i went for Qin's Blades due to have a tank killer item, i believe 4% on a tank will deal more damage than 6% from missing health.

Rage/ Malice is in my thoughts and is up for testing.

I agree with Starlight: the items, as well as skill usage need to be explained better. Not to sound mean or anything, but the explanations you offer seemed a little rushed, as if you wanted to get the guide out as quick as you can. Take your time with the guide; it's better to put time into it instead of just posting something that's not quite finished. (Also: MORE BBC CODING PLS. There are some guides to BBC Coding on the forums if you aren't sure how to use it.)

Regarding your item build: Heartseeker is a risky item to go for, considering the fact that you lose half of your stacks when you die. It's not a good item to use if you see yourself dying a lot in matches.

Qin's Blades isn't that great of a choice, since it does 4% damage to gods with /maximum/ health, so I don't think you'll get much of that in team fights; Qin's Sais is a much better alternative as it practically doubles your basic attack damage.

Asi is a decent choice based on the benefits it offers. It's not the best early game decision; I'd say it's a situational type of item. I myself go with devourer's gloves for the second choice, but that's just me.

The lack of any version of Tabi is what confuses me, as all ADCs should have a Tabi; mainly Warrior Tabi so that they have some penetration early game. Also, the lack of Rage/ Malice confuses me as well, considering that those items, while Malice is much more preferred, are excellent because of the critical strike chance and attack speed. It's a must if you're adding crit items to your build; you're not doing Deathbringer any justice.

That's all I have to say! It's best if you re-do the guide, and put some more time/effort into it.
