Bacchus
This guide is designed for Arena Bacchus only, this build doesn't really suit conquest as well. This build is designed to be the distracting menace for your teammates, take all of their damage and live to tell the tale. Your skills allow you to give your teammates time to do damage, and time to escape, so most of your focus should be on helping them live rather than doing damage yourself.
reinforced boots
Reinforced Boots
Starting with the first level of these gives you a touch of both protections to start, and gives you a touch of speed. If you are facing a team with a lot of CC, slows in particular, max this out first.
Ankh of the Golem
This gives you a bit of speed in your swing and a bit of protection from an early kamikaze Loki. If your first round of kills goes well, max this first to get the extra physical power straight away and become feared by the opposition quickly.
magi's blessing
Magi's Blessing
I only recently started taking this here, but the reason I do is the extra Mana you get. If you have played Bacchus before, you know he's the biggest mana hog in the game, especially as Chug levels up. By the time you get to your third item, chug is being maxed at level 11, so you need to get more mana to stay in the field longer. Max it straight away, and if you are only facing one enemy with magical power, this should be all you need for magical protection.
Breastplate of Valor
Continuing with the extra mana theme, this now protects you from your biggest threats: the close range enemies. As you are essentially a bruiser tank, you should be in close to most everyone you encounter, body blocking and distracting from your team. This gives you an added bonus of Cooldown reduction at the end so you can use your skills to protect your teammates more. The only reason not to take this is if you are facing a predominantly magical power team, in which case you should take Void Stone or
Stone of Gaia here, or get your
Bulwark of Hope early.
Bulwark of Hope
Now that you have your mana situation sorted out, it's time to build your health up for that Ankh, and for overall tankiness. This one gives you some added magical protection for facing a balanced team, and gives you a shield for the really tough situations. If facing a predominantly physical power team, you have a wealth of options here, my favorites being Witch Stone, Frostbound Hammer,
Voidblade, or even a
Gem of Isolation to really control the CC war.
Frostbound Hammer
This is here to turn you into a complete nuisance, you are now very hard to kill, and you slow the person you are chasing to boot. This gives you an extra boost of health to pump up the Ankh's power as well, and a touch more physical power to drive home your dominance. If you are doing really well at this point, this purchase usually comes with about 100 points to go, giving you an unexpected edge for the final push in a close game. If you are facing a particularly powerful team, you can alternatively go with more defense here, my favorites being Sovereignty, Witch Stone,
Voidblade,
Stone of Gaia, or even
Ethereal Staff for a large burst of health.
This is Bacchus' main strength. When playing as Bacchus, you must remember that keeping your teammates alive is your goal, and assists are your focus. Don't be afraid to use your last bit of mana helping a teammate get back to spawn, because you can always duck in for 3 seconds with them, and you didn't lose those 5 points. As you feel more confident with this build and tactics, you can start to focus weak gods, or even protect your teammates that are having a particularly hard time with an enemy (i.e. Loki, Thor.)
Bacchus is my favorite god to play, because he is one of the best support tanks in the game, and his animations are a riot. (If you haven't seen it before, his animation for returning to base is hilarious.) All of his skills are geared for harassing opponents, and he takes damage better than most gods because of his passive. He has a low learning curve because of this, making him easy to be successful when built as a tank. Most games the goal is 30 assists, and with a particularly good team and some luck you may see a few games where you don't die with this build. Any kills are a bonus, but a particularly good player with this build could approach 10 kills. I hope you have fun with this build, I know I enjoy it a lot.

Chug doesn't need a lot of lvles but I can live with it
as for the guide
I usually have to say more colors but your guide has an overkill on colors which made it a bit harder to read.
Also, the skill order is a bit strange, but the damage from the skills themselves is less important because you are not giving them any extra magical power unless you deviate from the build. Chug is obviously going to be most important, but past that you can really go any direction you'd like.
The reason why I said it was a weird skill order is because lvl 3 chug gets the job done and more levels in Belch is useful for damaging enemy gods. You mostly just will go Belly and than Belch on them :P
Regarding the Stone of Gaia, while I do believe it to be a good item, I prefer to take Magi's Blessing and Bulwark because of their health bonuses pairing with the Ankh of the Golem. Everything in the main build has health except for Breastplate of Valor (which gives you gobs of mana and cooldowns,) therefore giving extra physical power for harassing. By the time this build is finished you will have over 3000 health, giving you a bonus of ~45 physical power from the Ankh, which is basically a top tier item and nothing to sneeze at. That outweighs the benefits of Stone of Gaia to me.
Also, the skill order is a bit strange, but the damage from the skills themselves is less important because you are not giving them any extra magical power unless you deviate from the build. Chug is obviously going to be most important, but past that you can really go any direction you'd like.
Let me review it!
Pros:
Something different than Conquest!
Multiple builds
Explaining the items
Explanation of skills
Good usage of icons and color
Noticeable
NO stone of gaia in the main build? (it gives a lot of sustain)
Weird skill order for me at least, but its personal preference
Cons
Not much involving gameplay
Final verdict: 8.5/10!
