Apollo runs forward and slides on his knees, dealing damage, knocking aside all enemies and adding a stack of Audacity for each enemy hit. At the end of the slide, the movement speed is decreased for enemies and increased for himself and allies.

Introduction

Hi everybody I'm commander123 and this is my first guide on Smitefire. I will be doing Apollo. As i was looking for a build for Apollo the other day i realized there aren't any very new ones for him so here goes nothing. I am fully open to feed back and would love some. Just for clarification if the item shows up twice that means buy up to the second level. This means if it shows up 3 times buy the third level

Items

There are three different builds attached to this guide and I will go over each one

Critical Strike (Build 1)



This build is built around Critical strike items and attack speed for a lot of crits really fast.

Starting items


Tabi (level 2)
Healing Potion
Mana Potion

This is my usual start for all three styles of Apollo. A Lot of people go Death's Toll Tabi and Health Potions but i find that level 2 Tabi and both mana and Health pots work just fine and give a slight damage advantage and advances your build faster

First Back


Warrior Tabi
Asi (level 3)

The Warrior Tabi gives early Physical Penetration and a boost over any tanky gods early game. Asi is for survive ability and helps keep you in lane longer giving you more gold plus the passive is useful in when being gnaked.

Main Items


Rage
Deathbringer
Golden Bow

This is when we get to the Critical Strike chance. The Rage and Golden Bow boost critical strike chance along with either attack speed or movement speed. The Deathbringer gives crit chance damage and 25% increase on Crit damage which is very helpful to the build.

Secondary Items


Fatalis

This gives a boost to attack speed and movement speed which helps you get more crits out faster.

Salvation

These both add sustainability and mobility help survive

The start for this build is there same for the Crit build

This is the same as the Crit build as well

Devourer's Gloves
Soul Eater
Bloodforge

This is the meat of the build. It when fully purchased allows you to sustane like crazy and split push and be just a general pain in the butt to the other team

Fatalis

Once again for the movement and attack speed bonus.

This gives you a lot of early damage and sustane allowing you to control the lane.

This gives you a lot of power and damage which is the idea of this build

This finshed up the damage build

Fist of the Gods
Purification Beads

The Fist of the Gods stuns everybody and Beads prevent the stunning and CCing of Apollo

Lanning Phase



Apollo is a very mobile god and his lanning phase shows this. When lanning make sure to move around a lot only use your The Moves unless you need to escape or chase an enemy down. Yes,it is a good farming tool but it is more useful as a escape or a gap closer so keep it off cool down as much as possible. During the lanning phase the use of So Beautiful is good for poking and whittling down an enemy to make a move latter.

Mid game

Playing as Apollo you need to push your tower down soon then move on to roaming. Grab a movemendt buff if at all posible and go were needed wether it is pushing down a tower or helping gank keep moving around if you keep getting assists or kills you shouldnt need to farm at all but if you do split push to do the most damage to the enemy team.

Late Game

In the late game keep your ult off cool down as much as possible. Why, might you ask well if you keep you ult up as much as possible you can go off and split push while your team goes around the map and starts team fights. Once those start you can use you ult to fly a crossed the map and join the fights with extra damage and a knock up giving you team the upper hand

I used the full damage build, and I really loved it. I was not a huge Apollo fan until I found this. When I first used this in a conquest map, I got my first penta kill not from a match of the day. Was so excited. Great builds!
