List your Idealistic Hunter Builds

Dev gloves aren't loved because of a few reasons.
Heartseeker's speed and pure damage is ridiculous, and it's hard to die early game if you play smart, especially with a good support.
Additionally, DG isn't a good lifesteal item comparatively, because asi, while not giving any dadmage, is both a penetration AND a lifesteal item, making it fill two slots at once. Then you add on attack speed, which doesn't hurt either when you're getting Qin's Sais.

It used to be a good item, but it's just outclassed now.

It is mainly outclassed by Heartseeker because of its price. Noe necessarily its final price of 2150 gold, but the fact that you can't spend money early-on on it. Since the first tier, Spiked Gauntlet, costs 750 gold, it can't be used with Death's Toll in the beginning of the match, making you lose lots of early power, as it gives only 7% lifesteal. The 2nd tier, Cursed Gauntlet, costs over 1500 gold, making it impossible to invest money in it.

Bottom line, the biggest problem with it is that it cannot be stacked as early as HS, as its first tiers are overpriced. If you want to get Death's Toll, then you must get 2150 gold to get Devourer's Gauntlet, where as with HS, you can get [morning star of speed]] and all you need is less than 1000 gold. IMO, Spiked Gauntlet should have its price toned down to 650 gold. 7% lifesteal early on is nothing, and 750 gold is overpriced. Look at it this way; Hidden Dagger, which is the first item in the crit items tree, costs 670 gold, and it grants you 10 physical power and 5% crit chance. That's better than 7% lifesteal, and it's even cheaper.

This is idealistic so.

With 125% attack speed and too much power xD

Or maybe 5 deathbringers. For 250% extra crit damage and a 100% crit chance :D

Idealistic doesn't mean you can ignore unique passives...
