Also, only opinions of a select few people who have thoroughly played conquest recently and understand the meta well enough can provide valid opinions (for example, bran/marki/dv8/draisaitl/etc. vs some random Joe who has limited conquest experience and only joined SF for the S5 guide contest and will likely be leaving soon).

However Dv-8, I do look forward to what you will make. If your main goal is to start a discussion about tiers, then i think this is a pretty good idea

I honestly don't think I qualify one bit for a true Conq tier list other than maybe casual, but thanks for the vote of confidence, boog.

An accurate tier list should probably specify casual, low Elo ranked, Gold/Plat, or Diamond/Masters top ranked.

You may not have the ranked experience or the mechnical skill (you implied this), but Your knowledge of the game and of the meta more than qualifies you.

Tier Lists are generally kinda BS regardless. You have to factor in the level of player they're for, what mode, ect and in most circumstances people playing what they know how to play works out better. This is where you see pros playing "sub par" gods and doing well because their ability with a god outweighs the god's position on the tierlist.

For Example, in casuals and ranked gods like Arachne and Ao Kuang will forever be good cause they pub stomp people without a ton of awareness and communication and can snowball the game really easily. However, Arachne, and Ao in certain metas, often gets absolutely stomped in competitive play even at low levels due to teams being able to shut them down early or cc chain them to death on the regular. Hence why Arachne being picked and doing well in the history of the SPL isn't all that common.

The opposite is also true with certain comps being better in a teamplay sense as opposed to ranked due to needing everyone to work together perfectly.

Also a poorly up kept official tierlist would hurt smitefire's rep even more when compiled with the rep it has as a result of allowing everyone to post builds.
