HRX 2018 Keynote Recap

The first-ever Hi-Rez Expo Keynote has officially come to a close, and there are tons of God-like announcements to cover for SMITE.

2017 was an amazing year for SMITE, complete with a new Pantheon and 9 unique new Gods. We introduced Adventures bringing a new way to play and enjoy SMITE, launched the Project Olympus Program furthering our commitment to update and improve the SMITE player experience, and had one of the most exciting esports Seasons in SMITE history.

We're not slowing down in 2018. There's even more awesome content on the horizon! There's a new God releasing soon, a totally revamped Conquest map, and TWO new Pantheons!

So whether you missed the Keynote during our live HRX broadcast or are just looking for more info on your favorite announcements, we've got you covered! Here's a look at everything coming to SMITE revealed at HRX:

• New Cinematic: If you've been following The Fall of War, this year's epic Odyssey story, then you know we were left with Hades sitting on the throne of Olympus. He has completed his dark ritual. Ragnarok cometh!

• New Conquest Map: Ragnarok is here, and it has changed the Battleground forever! Introducing the brand new completely redesigned Season 5 Conquest map!

• New God: Cerberus the Warden of the Underworld storms the Battleground! The loyal servant of Hades is here to cause torment. Three heads means triple the action!

• New Pantheons: For the past couple of years, we released one Pantheon per year. But for this year, we wanted to explore fan requests and personal favorites that you all have been requesting for years. Coming this summer we will be releasing Gods from two new Pantheons: One from the frigid north: The Slavic Pantheon!

• Followed by a Pantheon from the heat of the equator. The Voodoo Pantheon!

Really interested in the new pantheons. Should have some interesting gods and playstyles coming out of them. Super hyped for Cerberus. Not looking forward to all the upcoming Cerberus and Hades teams coming.
