Eh...when I mean carry, I'm talking about gods like Polynomicon Ao Kuang, Chronos, He Bo, etc. They get a sudden spike of power as the game progresses, culminating in the "one-shot a hunter" late game.
Compare that to... Eset, like you mentioned. She stays fairly stable in terms of power level throughout the match.
I just thought it would be nice, you know, to have a mage that fell off for once, or at the very least had a non-spiking power level. Mage Arachne, basically. And not just a strong early game, like Zhong Kui, who actually gets stronger late game due to Recall Demons doing LOLs amount of damage in a teamfight. (700 + 100% x 5 = 3500 + 500% total, which is easily attained considering the huge radius and automatic hit mechanic.)

Lolicon comes to Smite. Leon Porter will be happy I suppose, that Kodomo no Jikan and all that jazz.
I like her design, I don't like her walk to be honest. I think they might need to fix up that animation, it looks really awkward and unnatural to me.
Also, I will admit, the passive has a horrible design. No gameplay interactions at all. I reckon the weakest part of Smite's kit design is the passive. A lot of them have no gameplay associated with them at all, and are just bonuses. Xbalanque, Geb, Tyr and Ao Kuang (yes, he actually does have a passive surprisingly) are the worst offenders, and now Scylla too.
Scylla could have been the best looking god since Geb. A freaking monstrous half naked women with tentacle wolves is the coolest thing ever. Nope, they went the cheap route and went with a boring human little girl who looks like Annie from LoL. Heck, there was picture where someone recolored Scylla's portrait to Annie's hair and eye color and looked exactly the same thing! The "well at least she ain't sexualized" doesn't help her case. The gods who are sexualized are the ones who were about beauty and fertility and greeks are all about sex! The the tentacle wolves look lazily slapped on. They just don't look right on a normal looking little girl. They tentacles look like they fused Kraken tentacles with Fenrir's head. They look bad. I was so freaking hyped about this god that I wouldn't shut up about her . Now I can't stand to watch the reveal video again without barfing.

Honestly the part that i like the least about her is her kit.
It's a very simple mixmash from <insert name of LoL champions here> i mean her 2 main damage abilities are the same as lux who i honestly think has one of the most bland and boring kit's in any moba.
I never got the "can detonate by pressing it again" mechanic for some placable AoE's in moba's, it doesn't boost the damage as far as i know and most people aren't DUMB enough to walk back into it so why would you wait to do damage?!
Aside from some very spesific senarios there is no reason not to detonate it early.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.
For example, if you place Circle of Protection in the middle of a teamfight, even if you don't detonate it, people will stay the hell away from it. It's for control.
(Also, I'm not exactly sure how the ability works, but it could also be used to keep a group of enemies debuffed and slowed for longer.)

Have you ever found yourself avoiding Ao's tornados that blocked the path into the jungle, then just finding yourself getting killed anyway by his ult or squall.
Or like how I onced used my ult as Ymir to block someone's escape for my teammates to kill when it was the only skill NOT on cooldown.
