Like I said, I am curious...but the thing is, there are good players outside of ranked, and bad players in ranked. No matter the situation or mode, I'm always (almost always) trying my best, because it's more fun to do that than to just play for whatevers...
That is true, I used to get a lot better players in my casual conquest games than I did in ranked and ppl where actually more tryhard in casuals as well (that was when I used to do 3-5 man queues all day). Pretty much only got against the top 5 picks at any time. But now a days I get pretty much the same level of skilled ppl in both modes. But they are a lot more tryhard in ranked, which I like (and sometimes dislike, when ppl don't want me to play Ares).
But you have to care about your ranking though at some level at least to make it fun. But still not care so much that losing a game or 10 makes you lose your ****.
It is just a lot easier to track how good you actually are when you are getting ranks and elo etc. Not that rank and elo is a very good indication.
After we lost the game, we got shamed by the enemy team (even though we said "ggwp")
He rage quit after getting killed one too many times.
Too much drama in ranked, and my Zeus friend quit smite, so I stopped trying to play ranked Joust.
Yes I do, actually played a ton with him before he started playing professionally (like every day). We where in the glorious clan "GHGH" ~Go Hard Or Go Home~, so when he just started playing I got to carry him lol
All he played was Poseidon mid...
Yes ranked is filled with drama, rage and baby tears. So if you can't handle beeing called bad and having ppl caling you to suck their ****s etc. You should reconsider not playing ranked.
I myself find it hilarious when ppl start crying and raging and just report them.
You also need to have a calm approach to ranked, if you get tilted by a 4 man gank before minion spawn, bad calls, bad teammates ppl calling you bad. Then you shouldn't play ranked or any other multiplayer game with a chat.
It is after all just pixels on a screen.
@Tlaloc1050
Oh rip my friend. But try and play until you get promoted and see if you get bumped up multiple ranks ^_~
@Technotoad64
If you do not care about elo or rank, there is definitely no reason to play ranked. Or you can track your guru score for casual even.
But the entire experience with bans etc. is very enjoyable, to me at least. Makes you think more than in casuals where you just mash your enter key to be the first to call your role and instalock your god.
In my experience ranked queues are a lot of the time faster than casuals, but picks and bans takes a lot of time ofc. so you get less tkme in game for sure.
I tried to play ranked in the start of rhis year but console players are terrible and I lost EVERY SINGLE GAME because of some dumb teammate that didn't ward or something like that. Now, I don't play ranked because of this and because my Wi-Fi is ****.
In this Split, I have 12 (or 13, I do not remember) played games; I find myself in Gold V (PS4) 3 points up the rank. I understand that I do not necessarily have to go up to Gold IV but I can go up to Gold I inclusively, is this true? It's my first full experience at Ranked and I'm not going bad, I have a record of 8-4 (or 8-5) and I already have my beloved Vulcan in Platinum.
Before I had played Ranked Duel, but I started to be disgusted because you should always choose an OP pick to have a minimum chance.
I think I'm about halfway on the journey from level 29 to 30, but am not planning on playing ranked anytime soon after hitting that.
With enough time and dedication I'm confident I'd be able to reach a respectable rank (mostly based on the fact that I was Diamond when I actively played League), but as things stand I feel there are too many things I don't know enough about to ever consider queueing up for a ranked game ._.
I tried ranked conquest, but kept getting match up with idiots during qualification so I stopped. I had one game where we could have won, but two of my team members kept bad mouthing a third instead of doing their jobs so we lost in the end due to lack of team coordination.
