So took a while was too lazy to make a write up, however progression was steady.

Let's start with Xbalanque:
Well I love his passive change. no more needed early aggression or complaining about kill steals. A good change. After all this time the only thing that changed was his tier list ranking. Oh and my ability lvling sequence to the meta one using Branching Bola for clear.


Now Vulcan:
well I don't remember him playing so clunky as he looks, however I quickly managed to get over it. So he changed only a bit which isn't really noticable. His passive got a good change. however before he slowed so the effect stays mostly the same. One thing that is quite annaying is that his turret is pretty squishy, which is kinda a shame.

Next Vamana:
Only his moddel changed which I like. I love him just to make clutch escapes and easy wave clear. So build wise warrior's changed, however I still prefer Hastened Katana(fatalis) on him over Frostbound Hammer

So, I got in this arena match yesterday, https://smite.guru/match/941913075 , and our nemesis dc'ed very early into the match. Even as early as a month ago I probably wouldn't have countered nearly as effectively as I did this match to compensate from my second item. I am sure a lot of you, if you take the time to look, would have gone different routes. It was also a -sr match, we were -12sr. I know a lot of you don't put a lot of stock in that, but usually when I am in those matches and look back at them, those are most of my more difficult matches.

I made the decision very early to go aura protections to help my team because I figured being a member down we needed the extra group protections more than anything else. We ended up making a big push at the end and only ended up losing by 51 points and had gotten within about 30 at one point. So time to cross the next one of the list.

Xian ting was kinda new for me. Had played him several times not really understanding his kit before I quitted.

But damn does he have a good Kit. Only gotta get some CDR (mostly via boots) as is quite long.
SO ability thoughts:

Smouldering Rage is quite decent too regen up with. Unless you think to get use from it during a fight. It's pretty much meant for healing up after trades or fights.

Furious Roar Howly hell is this ability good. For me it is pretty much first maxed ability. The reason why is because it not only does a nice bit of damage upfront followed by a max hp % DoT, for that wave clear. It also gives you a damage reduction to basic attacks, which is quite great and honestly is a harder peel than the following ability if there is not a mage trying to blow someone up.

Hook Slam really easy to hit and actually for some reason I proc beads with it a lot for some reason. Probably something I should have maxed first, however th…

I don't usually talk about my matches, but here goes a story of probably, the most frustrating match I've ever played.

Yesterday I was playing this game as usual. I stared with this ranked game where for some reason the guy banned Hun Batz and let Hera open. Results: Hera carried the game. Plus I was tilted 'cause I was always or killing Cernunnos or removing both aegis and beads and the team were doing nothing. Ok, not so frustrating, just a ranked with idiots, it's normal. Especial comment: Arachne tower dived a Geb at level 2 and died when she clearly would no be able to kill him. Next match.

I was using and abusing of my new Thoth skin in this match here and duo lane ****ed the game feeding a Chiron who started to rotate and carried the game, plus Cerberus tried to fight alone against him 4 levels behind and quited the game when he died. Results: Surrender. Next match.

Okay, so i was just playing a joust game as Ares. This game was one of the few losses that I have had since jumping back in. Well, they got our Pheonix and prior to that the other two had been aggressively pushing near the other team's phoenix some time after we got their tower, but while i had lots of health, i had no mana, no trinket and they were barely at around half health and had almost no mana. I was playing with A Chaac and Vulcan.

My teammates kept pushing and i backed off and ported and went back to our tower. They pushed with me single on it with their minions and killed me and got our tower and it was too long on their timers so that is when they got our phoenix. My team came back and chased them off, and then decided they wanted to go for fire giant. Because i have seen it so many times before where the enemy team just bypasses while no phoenix for an easy titan kill i stayed right there for defense where the phoenix spawns, and one of them died and one of them was t…
