Since season 5 started I notice that people are playing the game without think about teamwork, at least with me in Xbox One where I play the most time.

Here there is a video of an excellent team work in season 4, and I don't see it anymore in the game. Looks like that at S5 everyone wants kills just like an TDM of Call of Duty, but Smite needs teamwork.

Of course season 4 there were a lot of teams that didn't work together, but in season 5 I'm facing almost every match this problem.

I asked for ADC (since I'm main), and then someone locks an and then asks ADC. So I changed to Mid. Then this same guy go to the mid and I'm forced play against in duo lane (but the supports went to the mid) and there was me against an with a without help. And of course I didn't received any help and 0 ganks. And yes, we lost.

Besides people complaining of your picks (even when you play very well), people leaving the game in the middle of the match (in 10 conquest matches I play, 5 at least someone leaves the game), and a lot of other stupid things like these that broke with the fun you could have.

What happened to people? In season 4 this kinda of problems in matches were the minority but in season 5 they are majority. What people are doing with Smite?

That was what think. This season has been being the worst Smite season in my opinion, but this is only my opinion, may I change my mind until its end.

Because 10 kills, 1 death and 1 assist look better on the scoreboard than 1 kill, 1 death and 10 assists. This is the mindset a lot of people have in a lot of games. Hence why the support role is usually the last one to be filled.

Take it from me, I've been gaming for YEARS, it's always the same thing.

I don't disagree with you. I think a lot of the times, people just don't know what they are doing. But to be fair, a game like Smite requires a lot of learning to have a good grasp of how overall gameplay should be performed.

Sometimes, though, people are just jerks, lol. There isn't much for me to say there.

Something else you could consider is playing with a reliable group of people. Finding people that you enjoy playing with makes the game more fun.

But, again, it does seem that the average player (at least near my rank) does things to make the game less enjoyable.

Man, that's true. I try to play this game with friends but it's difficult always have an 5 player party on xbox, so sometimes we play with random people and jesus, looks like they want to **ck with your game.

What level level are you?

A new season probably means new people, I've heard that console is getting a lot of new players as well. PC has the same thing in low level games.

I'm level 70 on console. PC in low levels (which I'm level 8 because I play on it once in a month or 2 months) is better than the Xbox in my opinion. I'm not complaining about new people, nobody was born learning, I'm complain about people that know how Smite works (at least the basic) and choose do this kind of (ridiculous) things.

I feel it is a lot easier to leave on console though than on PC, it does not feel as serious to me. But I am like lvl 15 on PS4 so that might be why..

when it comes to X-box though and the DC, wasn't there a lot of problems with it lately? That could explain the DCs maybe?

I would like to believe on this my friend, but people DC from Smite and when you open the profile he is playing other game, so he just closed the game in the middle of the match and opened other game. That's sad, this kind of people destroy our fun people who play the game "right".
