Xing Tian Build

Sentinels support start

Notes This is the most used and consistent start for supports, xing tian is no exception to this however he, like most other supports can opt for a benevolence start where you substitute out the sentinals for benevolence.
It is used if you are going to be staying with your backine instead of diving with it as the split protections are more helpful for protecting your squishies than the aura from Compassion

Benevolence support Start

Notes This is a start to go for if you're intending to go into Compassion. which is more effective for diving the enemy backline with your jungler and solo as you will greatly mitigate their damage taken with Compassion and Furious Roar as the jungler and solo will likely be building enough protections from items like Void Shield and Ancile for them to not need the split protections from sentinels embrace

Sentinels support build

Notes This build is more heavily focused on peel than set up and you should stick with your backline carries if you are going to use this build.
If the enemy is planning on going crit then Sovereignty can be replaced for Spectral Armor
As for a replacement for Stone of Binding, Mantle of Discord Relic Dagger Ethereal Staff Spear of the Magus and magi's blessing are all good options.

Compassion build.

Notes This build is more focussed around set up than peeling, Spear of the Magus and Sundering Spear will allow for your jungler or solo to instantly burst a squishy carry whilst Pridwen is an incredibly strong item for xing due to it giving some much needed cdr and a helpful shield after he ults which will usually pop after he uses hook slam on the enemies he's blendered mid air.
If the enemy is planning on going crit make sure to substitute Sovereignty out for Spectral Armor
For alternative items, Mantle of Discord Magi's Cloak and Relic Dagger are all good replacements.

Support relics

Notes Xing will still be one of the supports to use Magic Shell effectively due to his Furious Roar also being able to reduce enemy auto attack damage by a half.
Blink Rune is a mandatory relic on xing
[[Belt of frenzy is helpful for shredding objectives
Horrific Emblem is helpful against immobile gods with no cc immunity or slow immunity like Ah Muzen Cab
Heavenly Wings is good against heavy slowing gods like Ymir and Bakasura
Cursed ahnk is strong against Vamana or other healers/self sustainers
Sundering Spear is just a strong support relic right now]]
Bracer of Radiance is very new, but I personally believe it can be a strong pickup in supports]]
Purification Beads is a relic you should pick up against cc heavy comps like an Ares and a Fenrir

Lanning phase (support)

Xing tian is incredibly good at setting up kills for his adc, his peel is exceptional aswell with the 50% auto attack damage reduction and a quick on demand knock up.
Use your ult for set up or peel and be careful with silences and roots, both of these are incredibly potent to xing tian.
Don't be afraid to fight in the early levels, you supply insane amounts of utility that can surprise the enemy.

Late game (support)

You can play xing tian as either a beads burner or someone who can combo off their team well,
Your team fight as a support is about peeling for your adc and mid lanners, xing tian can also work as a good back line diver with his ultimate and double jump.

Lanning phase (solo)

Xing tian is fairly weak without any items, usually you'll struggle to farm and fight until you get stone of gia and a defence item up as your built in sustain is fairly weak, when you get those items you can almost definitely fight your opponent and sometimes even the jungler, as long as you get past your weak itemless phase then you should do well.

Late game (solo)

You should aim to be as annoying as possible, back line dive, nuke a squishy then double jump out without a scratch, or you can aim to ult multiple people, you can use your ult for survivability if you wish.
Your passive and a stone of gia will still make you incredibly difficult to catch or kill and you can use your ult for the immunity frames to dodge 2 big hard hitting abilities.

Thank you for taking the time to read my xing tian guide, this is my first guide so if you would be kind enough to spare some feedback then that would be great.

Yo Blip,

Looks solid to me. One thing you might consider is level the 3 first, and possibly switch out the HoG for extra potions if you want more early sustain. The 3 has only a 1 second longer CD and deals higher level 1 damage with both leaps.

thanks for the feedback, I've altered the level order but kept the potions as I just like hog for support too much, however I've also added a build to the solo part of the guide and a situational item tab

Curious, typically do you hold all 3 void minions for the ADC to get extra farm, or do you kill the 2 smalls and just wait for the ADC to be near to finish the buff holder?
