I have been playing Thanatos for a while now and have realized that he is my favorite character as well as, in my opinion, the best jungler in the game. I have tried laning a few times and absolutely suck at it. Enjoy my guide on how to jungle w/ Thanatos!
The skill sequence is in order of which skill I max first to last.
Death Scythe...the initial damage dealer, this skill will deal huge chunks of damage to your enemies. I almost always use this skill to initiate attacks.
To be honest I don't really use this skill very much besides for get aways or to catch up to an enemy who is running away.
This skill is great to prevent the enemy from escaping once they are low on health. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten a kill because the enemy has been silenced and they can't use their 'get away' skill. Great damage dealer as well.
Finally we have the ultimate. This in my opinion is one of the best ultimates in the game, why? Because it can be used for a get away or a quick kill. Beware though, tower diving at low health is something you must think about before you get that free kill.
Warrior Tabi is a great all round item for any physical attacking god, the movement speed really helps.
Bloodforge is needed for it's lifesteal as well as physical power. Since you are playing as Thanatos, who takes life with every skill, the lifesteal will help you gain the lost life back.
I choose Qin's Blades over Qin's Sais due to that fact that the blades deal a damage percantage of the enemy god's health, allowing for more damage. The more damage you have as Thanatos the better.
This item is one of the most important items of the build, why? Because of the cooldown reduction! With this item you are able to use your ultimate more, which means more executions!
Titan's Bane is also an important item of the build. The physical power and penetration is essential for Thanatos because of how much damage potential you have with this one item.
Rage/Malice is of personal preference to the player. I prefer Malice over Rage because it gives flat critical chance and flat damage, instead of a passive like Rage does. Critical chance is almost essential for a Thanatos build because, again, the damage potential.
Alternatives:
One Alternative item is to switch Titan's Bane w/
Deathbringer for extreme critical damage. I have used this and have seen my Thanatos hit 1k criticals on people.
The first thing you should look for is which side the solo (short) lane is on the map.
1. If the Solo Lane is on the Left Side:
Try to get the solo laner to help you pick up speed buff first, then head on over to blue buff for the solo laner. You will need help because of how squishy Thanatos is early game. After buffs have been dropped head on over to the left mid-camp ASAP, if it has been taken come back at around 2:00. After mid-camps head on over to the left side fury camp. After this has been cleared out you should be around level 4, with 2 points in your first skill and 2 points in your third skill. Head on over to your solo lane until level 5, once level 5 has been reached go head back into the left jungle and continue the route, or go head to right jungle and start getting damage buff, just make sure you have mid-camps under control. (Ganking will be explained in another chapter)
2. If the Solo Lane is on the Right Side:
Try to get the solo laner to help you pick up damage buff first, then head on over to blue buff for the solo laner. You will need help because of how squishy Thanatos is early game. After buffs have been dropped head on over to the left mid-camp ASAP, if it has been taken come back at around 2:20. After mid-camps head on over to the left side fury camp. After this has been cleared out you should be around level 4, with 2 points in your first skill and 2 points in your third skill. Head on over to your solo lane until level 5, once level 5 has been reached go head back into the left jungle and continue the route, or head over to the left jungle and start getting speed buff, just make sure you have mid-camps under control. (Ganking will be explained in another chapter)
Alternate Routes:
The alternate routes for jungling are to start out with killing the midcamps and then going for the buffs, I only use this one if the other team's jungler and mid-laner aren't going for them because of how squishy Thanatos is. Make sure you check this at the beginning of every game, mid-camps are key for gaining an edge on your opponent.
Ganking is extremely easy with Thanatos. Once you have reached level 4 or 5 tell your team that you are going go gank their lane using the VGS commands; VG1 for left lane, VG2 for mid lane, and VG3 for right lane. To initiate the attack use your first skill (Death Scythe) to deal a huge chunk of damage to the opponent while taking them by surprise, usually most people will try to fight back because they are panicking so just use your basic attacks and your third skill when ever it is up. If he runs and is in execute range, use your ultimate and you should be able to tank the damage from the tower, if you are low on health DON'T dive it will only help the enemy team.
Thanks for reading my guide, I hope you all take this build into consideration and see how good it is for conquest. Thanks again! -Dezama

The skill order doesn't make any sense.
You do not explain the skills and how to use them.
While your build is ok-ish, the sstarting items are terrible. 4
This guide lacks information. A lot.
Downvote from me. I hope you'll learn in the future how to make better guides and not give up though.
Although I play thanatos a lot too ( I am a mastered 5 ) I really don't want to comment on the build as I think my builds are inferior to what other people can come up with as I don't jungle with him
