Thanatos

The most important thing to remember is that the thanatos depends on your skills, and you need to understand when and why they need to live, the thanatos have no abilities except the absolute ability, it should be used for an explosion only when you are confident in yourself, or when you have to leave death

Hi Raycaster,

Brawler's Beat Stick in the 2nd slot seems like...well, I think it would be better as a late-game item. Lifesteal and healing aren't really built up that high in the early game for most gods, so you're going to get limited function out of the passive.

I understand getting it for the power and pen, but think that you'll get better function out of Heartseeker in that 2nd slot. Added MS early for rotations, has similar (but a bit lower) power and pen, and you'll get that little bit of added burst at full stacks.

I'd consider Shield of Regrowth a situational item at best. Since you're already getting Heartseeker's 10% added MS, and you can get a nice temporary MS boost via Scent of Death, the bigger MS boost from Regrowth isn't necessary. It's also tied to Death Scythe, which, if you miss it on a juking enemy god, means you're not getting that passive function at all. Maybe you never miss, but it's a point worth considering.

I wouldn't necessarily say Brawler's Beat Stick is a lategame item but I wouldn't get it second item. I feel it is better as a third or fourth item.

Example Build: Warrior Tabi, Jotunn's Wrath, Hydra's Lament (or Heartseeker), Brawler's Beat Stick, Magi's Cloak, Titan's Bane (or other damage item).

Mostly I was meaning later than Heartseeker.

My own pref is Jotunn's Wrath early too.

Remember also that there's that Scent of Death added pen (situationally), that, combined with HS and Jotunn's, means BBS would blow way past the flat pen cap.
