Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

I personally feel this build is too split-personality and not knowing where it wants to go.
- You've got 3 items with basic attack focus. Only 2 of those have attack speed, and when you're building
Qin's Sais, you typically want a lot of attack speed to support getting more procs of the passive. In this build, I just don't think you have enough to make it that worthwhile. It's not TOO bad if you're able to stick to enemies and use your attack canceling after every 2nd basic, but still, think you might want a bit more AS.
- You have 3-ish items that support ability use, 2 of which are pure protection items and 1 of which is a pure offensive item. My argument against getting too much CDR is that he typically doesn't need much CDR. His
Sickle Strike is on an extremely low CD of 5 seconds.
Spirit Flail is still relatively short for a standard ability at 10s. His ult is shorter than standard at 75s instead of 90. And while it's nice to have more CDR to have
Judgement Tether up more often, I'd still argue his generally best direction is to have more of a basic attack / bully focus.
Instead of choosing pure defense items (e.g.Items you may consider in this vein:
Mystical Mail: Nice for the pulsing damage, and qualifies as a more defensive bruiser item due to the health, physical prots, and CC reduction. While the damage itself is low per tick, you should be getting a decent amount from it because as a bully, you're looking to stick close to enemies.
Talisman of Energy: If you're looking for a magical protection item e.g.
Genji's Guard, Talisman is one that is a bit more synergistic for a bully. The passive added MS and AS help you stay close and get more basic attacks in, while it's still a tanky item due to the magical prots and health.
Death's Embrace: You haven't opted for a starter or its upgrade in your build. While I wouldn't suggest
Death's Toll (the effect is quite mild and meant for a slower early game in Conquest), the upgrade Embrace for late-game (once you reach level 20) can give you some good power and some nice sustain.
- After its nerf, not sure how effective Animosity is, but if you don't pick up
Death's Embrace at level 20, you may consider this. It's like a defensive version of Qin's Sais, as it provides magical prots and the same type of bonus damage.
Frostbound Hammer or
Runeforged Hammer: Either of these can be functional. Provides some power and health with added function. I would argue you don't need Frost, as you've already got plenty of slows in your kit, but the item slows will stack with ability slows, and you can make the enemy move like they're in molasses. On the flipside, if you want that power and health, but are looking to more straight damage, Runeforged gives you a boost to damage anytime your target has CC applied to them. That obviously works with your own slows/stun, but in a large teamfight mode like Arena, they're likely to have other CC from teammates applied to them often.
Void Shield: Bruiser item with power, physical prots, and some protection reduction. This protection reduction is synergistic if you keep
Stone Cutting Sword in your kit.
The Executioner: IF you find you're able to be very aggressive and aren't getting focused too hard, picking up Exe will synergize really well w/ Stone Cutting and Qin's, due to the AS and protection reduction.
In essence, I'd suggest considering replacingTy fam
Think we need more damage tho
