Hello everyone! I'm back with another Nu Wa guide. This is a improvement of the Bruiser Nu Wa that was on my other guide. You can use it for both Conquest and Arena.
This build focuses on:
Magical Power - This one is obvious. Everything in
Nu Wa's kit scales with Magical Power, even her basic attacks.
Defense - Since this is a Bruiser Build, you'll need items that raise your defenses and health so that you can take hits better and survive during the teamfights.
Attack Speed - The basic attacks are very important for
Nu Wa. Both Flame Strike and Pillars of Heaven improve
Nu Wa's basic attacks, making them her primary source of damage.
Pros
-Ranged and magical bruiser
-Strong basic attacks with splash damage -Fast wave clearing and very good pusher -Good Teamfight Presence -Physical Protection buff from ![]() -Different kinds of utility (stealth, minions, stun...) |
Cons
-Squishy until you get items
-Damaging skils aren't very powerful on their own -Minions leave much to be desired -Dependent on basic attacks that can be missed -Hard to master |
Elemental Crystals (Passive)
I will continue this guide later.

And I'm afraid that you can't change the color of the rules. I like them as is; the white accentuates the color.
Very nice.
Small details..
TO DO LIST: Gameplay section; Finish Items section
Give opinions and suggestions on BBCoding.
How do I change the color of the rules?
You do a good job of explaining how skills work, why you level or not level them up, and when and when not to use them. Good work.
Another example build isn't really necessary.
Now that skills and items are done, are you going to get some gameplay?
That will take some days since I have tests now, but I will do it.

Skill Section is done!
Improved descriptions to the Last Items and Shoes, and added one to Gem of Binding.
And that's it..
Should I add another Example Final Build with CDR and Polynomicon?
Okay, yeah, you should delete them.
One problem I see with the build is the lack of any penetration, which will easily nullify most of your damage. Since you rely on basics anyway, shouldn't you go for
I have to admit, I really like the idea of Witch Stone on Nu Wa. It is definitely a novel concept yet synergizes with her quite well. I wish I thought of that. Have you considered adding
Your pros and cons sections have really improved. But as TT said, your skills section is lacking.
Possibly my favorite part is the bit on the top giving a small overview of the focus of the build; attack speed, defense, and power. I wish I could see that on more guides.
Overall, this guide has improved so much, I'll upvote. If this guide continues to progress this way, I'll definitely recommend it.
Thank you for commenting!
Hmm, I think you're right about the boots. CDR is more important on Arena (which is what I usually play) but since this guide is for both Arena and Conquest I should add Shoes of Magi.
Regarding to Etheral Staff, I had that on my old build, but I didn't feel it was very important. If you use it, there is no room for one of the last items (which improve the basic attacks) and Warlock's Sash provides enough Health. Yes, they have synergy and you get more Health and Magical Damage, but I want to focus on basic attacks and for that, the items listed are much better.
I'm happy to see you liked the Introduction and the Witch Stone!
