Introduction

Hi SmiteFire community !

After buying Nemesis and his skin I've played a lot with her and I figured out some of her specialties and the kind of build who's the best for her ! I want to say that I don't think this is the perfect build but It's the one that work the best for me. Before we get in the build, sorry for my bad English, I'm french :)

Skills

Now the skills sequence !

The passive basically buff your attack power by 5% and nerf your enemy's attack power by the same amount. Don't misunderstand, this passive is deadly !

Right now this skill has a bug and that's why we're getting it first. It's suppose to enable a second dash only when you hit a valid target (creeps, gods, menticore) but it enables it every time even if you hit nothing. So his annoying potential is pretty high and his chase potential either ! I use Swift Vengeance to poke and chase. Poke because you return to your initial position pretty fast ! And chase because... well you know !

As you may have seen in the skills sequence, I focus on getting this skill on a high level very quickly. First, it will become your principal damage dealer and then there is the annoying and the chase potential ! The slow effect is very useful when you need to chase god. Not just the slow but the damage are multiplied by 2 when you hit a god in the middle zone ! Which make this skill really powerful !

Retribution as powerful as it looks like, is a little disappointing in my opinion. The skill is very useful but doesn't last enough to save your life. His potential is when you're against a god who hits fast and hard ( Artemis for example). You can take the advantage by turning his power against him !

Divine Judgement is a very treacherous skill. The damage are dealt in percentage which mean you CANNOT kill a god with it. I recommend to use that skill on a god with half (or more) of his life so you can finish them up with Swift Vengeance and Slice and Dice ! The buffs it gives you are simply awesome. First you're faster and your enemy is slower (chase potential) and then your enemy is stuck with a protection nerf which mean you critical hits are even more critical !

Base Build

Focused Voidblade
First you need a good start and for that, I've choose Focused Voidblade ! Why ? Well I think it provides you a good mixed start. Nemesis needs a lot of physical penetration and physical power. Focused Voidblade provides all this and gives you some physical protection in bonus !

*I highly recommend to buy your boots after the Focused Voidblade !

Next, I've choose the Qin's Sais. To me, this was obvious because Nemesis need all what the Qin's Sais provides. This choice was made after I chased a god in an Arena match. Due to the high mobility of Nemesis you can chase gods pretty easily but Nemesis has no mana sustain. Which mean you can close the gap between you and the god but your chase probably takes a great part of your mana so you cannot kill him. Qin's Sais provides more powerful's basic attacks and a lot of attack speed. It's gonna palliate your low mana sustain.

*I highly recommend to buy your defense's item after the Qin's Sais !

The next two items focus on getting critical hits with basic attack ! Rage provides a good 30% of critical chances plus 10% for every non-critical hit. With the physical power and the attack speed it gives you, Rage is a must. With the next item you basically have 100% critical hits every 5 hits!

* Malice is a good choice too !

The last but not the least ! The Deathbringer is well named. This item is a monster especially for Nemesis. I don't know why they don't nerf this object but it basically gives you 20% critical chances and 50% critical damage with a bonus of 50 physical power. With this and the Rage, you'll hit a critical strike every 5 hits, guarantied ! (Believe me this is over power !)

Defense

Physical

For my first physical defense's item I chose the Breastplate of Valor for 2 reason. First it gives you a lot of mana which is good for your mana sustain and then it gives you 25% of Cooldown Reduction. Obviously gives you physical protection that's point of a physical defense item.

For the second item, I chose Mail of Renewal. I chose it because sometimes you don't really need the Breastplate of Valor. In case you are more of a Blitzkrieg's type, your mana isn't that important but you're still very squishy. Mail of Renewal enter in the game at that moment.

*When the enemy team is more AD I recommend to chose an item in this defense pack.

Magical

Shield of Regrowth
Shield of Regrowth gives you a big magical protection of 60 and a physical protection of 20. I chose it because of his passive that can save your life numerous times. Shield of Regrowth has the same stats as Runic Shield but the passives differ, if you have to chose, check the passive.

Runic Shield is the same thing as the Shield of Regrowth but the passive gives you even more protection when you get hit by an ability. I choose this one when I need more magical defenses, because it fits more, I think.

*When the enemy team is more AP I recommend to chose an item in this defense pack.

Mixed

Hide of the Urchin is really great when it comes to a mixed defense. It protect you in both physical and magical and gives you a lot of mana and alot of health. The passive is really good and can provides you a maximum of 20 additionnal protection in both physical and magical. Hide of the Urchin is a most for me.

Magi's Cowl
For those who build more Tanky, I recommend Magi's Cowl. This item gives you a big amount of health. It gives you a good both magical and physical protection. The crowd control reduction is a most for Nemesis who chase and has a double dash.

*When the enemy team is really mixed between AD and AP I recommend to chose an item in this defense pack.

Boots

The Ninja Tabi are very efficient if you plan to chase. It gives you a Cooldown Reduction Bonus and a solid 18% additional speed .

The Warrior Tabi will provides you with additional physical penetration and some attack speed, which is very good ! I usually choose these boots because of all the potential it gives with the critical chance in the base build.

If you want to build Nemesis with a mixed defense you can use these boots with the Hide of the Urchin. This will gives you both good physical and magical protection.

Actives

Meditation
First active that I recommend is Meditation. It will really help you getting sustain and stay in lane much longer, which is very good !

The combat blink is a plus if you're stunned or your skills are on cooldown. It can be useful to teleport yourself out of fight !

Combos and Strategy

Versus Squishy Opponent

That combo has been the more deadly for me. I engage the enemy with Divine Judgement which slows his movement and takes nearly half of his health. Next I fill my Scales of Fate with 3 good basic attacks. At this point your enemy isn't slowed anymore. Use Slice and Dice to slow him again (if he isn't dead yet). Next you have two choice. If you think you can kill him (if he isn't dead yet) with Swift Vengeance then go for it, else, use it to get out of the fight.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

-High chase potential
-High damage
-Good on 1v1
-Easy critical

Cons:

-Low mana sustain
-Pretty hard to play
-Not that efficient in team fight

So far, I'm building something very similar (I replace Breastplate and Boots with Jotunn's and Hydra's Lament) but this is the build I started to find what I wanted, so I recommend it.
