Info

One of the most criminally underplayed, yet in my opinion one of the best, gods... Ullr. Ullr is a hunter, meaning that he deals ranged physical damage, however, Ullr's 4th ability allows him to switch to a melee stance, making him a less tanky warrior. Ullr is a burst damage character. That means that Ullr can do a A LOT of damage in just a short time. In fact, he is so strong, he can put tremendous amounts of pressure any time during the game. Ullr is a VERY mana hungry character, meaning that to do a lot of his burst damage, he uses a very large amount of his mana.
Ullr has slow attack speed, movement speed, and average damage at the beginning of a game, but he can still be used to defend, solo, or sometimes clear a lane. Ullr is one of the most versatile gods in the game, because of his stance switching ability. Because of this, you will find yourself supporting your teammates often, if they need it.
Ullr is not a tank, it is best if you build him with lifesteal rather than defense. Building him with something like Devourer's Gauntlet or Soul Eater gives him HUGE sustainability.
Ullr has some of the best pokes in the game, you can continually harass other players in the same lane due to the long range of Ullr's third ability while in bow stance, Hail of Arrows. His 1st ability in axe stance Thrown Axe stuns the enemy for quite a long time, allowing you to burst and make the enemy retreat if not kill him.
When being defensive with Ullr, you will always want to make the enemy stay as far away from you as you can, poke and harass them if they get close, and make it obvious to the enemy that you can burst them. This will make them cautious if not scared of you, use that to your advantage and make them back off or stay away from you, this will allow you to farm for longer periods of time and get ahead of the opponent.
As good as Ullr is, he has some losing matchups. Ullr will lose to almost every warrior and some guardians in a solo lane, due to their high defense. This can be countered however, if you continually harass and poke the enemy with Ullr's Bladed Arrow and Hail of Arrows, you can easily burst the enemy once they are at half or lower health.
His Passive on his 4th ability gives him plus 25% extra lifesteal, so having 2 lifesteal items is pretty much useless. Ullr's boxing potential is very high. With his extremely high burst damage and a buff for his bow that increases his basic attack power by 50, Ullr can do massive damage, to any class, even if you can't kill them.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
High Burst
Decent Escapes
High Sustain
Two Buff Abilites
Cooldown Reduction Passive
Attack Speed and Lifesteal Passive
Long Range Poke

Cons:
Mana Hungry
Low Mana Pool
Mediocre in Arena
Medium Presence in Team Fights

Beginning Game

The first thing that you should always to is to spend your skill points in Ullr's first ability, Bladed Arrow or Thrown Axe. This will ensure you a good lane clear and early burst damage potential. The first thing you would want to do is to get to level 2 as fast as you can. As soon as you do, spend your skill point on Ullr's third ability, Hail of Arrows or Glory Bound. This will allow you to do even more burst damage at the beginning of the game. Whenever you level up, just spend your skill point in Ullr's 1st and 3rd ability, and when you can, his 4th ability. All this burst damage comes at a cost...mana. Before farming, try to get mana potions or blue buff so you can keep bursting without always having to recall.
When farming with an enemy god, always make sure to keep your distance if you don't plan on harassing them. Stay behind your minions and always use your first ability while in Bow Stance, Bladed Arrow. If you do plan on harassing them, do it fast, and unexpected. Hide behind your minions and use your third ability while in axe stance to close the distance on your target and deal some extra damage. When you are in close range, stun him with your first ability, then switch to bow stance and use Bladed Arrow while they are still stunned. If they are not killed by then, use your third ability Hail of Arrows to kill them while they are running away or while they are still heavily damaged. You will want to practice doing this. At the beginning of the game, at level 2, Ullr can do around 300-450+ damage or so and kill most hunters and assassins, some warriors and mages, and heavily damage some guardians. This is an example of Ullr's burst damage early game and can even secure you some kills.

Mid Game

By the time it is mid game, which is around 15+ mins, you should at least be around level 10 if not higher. If you have been leveling your first and third ability, and your fourth if you can, like I told you so, then you should do a pretty decent amount of damage. Your kit should have some boots, a little bit of power, and a decent amount of lifesteal. If you have been defending this whole time, you are going to want to start pushing back. Don't push too hard however, because Ullr has no cc and is not TOO hard to gank
Overcommitting is one problem that I see other Ullr players make often. They end up biting more than they can chew and, although Ullr has some good escapes, other gods that you will often come by like Apollo, Thor, or Xbalanque, can easily catch up. What you want to do is to stay behind your minions and keep poking your enemy, like in the beginning, and since you do more damage, you can start bursting them while they have more health and still have a high chance of killing them. If you do not think you can kill the enemy however, don't even try. If you do, and you fail, always make sure to get away with Glory Bound. Glory Bound covers a pretty good distance, and can even jump over buff camp walls. If you are getting chased, your best chance to get away is to get as close as you can to a buff camp wall, and then use Glory Bound to jump over.
When there is a team fight, the best thing for you to do is to go around and go through the back. Not only will they not see you at first but you have a higher chance for a kill. Look for anyone out of place and take out their health with Hail of Arrows and only burst when at half health or lower.

End Game

By the time it is end game (Usually around 25+ mins) you should be an ADC, even if you are not trying to be. If you have Rage and Deathbringer, you should be able to stun them, then use Bladed Arrow and kill them with your basic attacks. Ullr will be very useful in team fights because of your burst damage and you can even chase down stragglers with your second ability, Invigorate, in axe stance (Assuming that you maxed out your first and third ability.) If you haven't already, go for the towers. By late game, you should be able to do 100+ damage to the towers. 135+ with Expose Weakness, which increases physical power. You can solo maybe 2 towers (3 max) before having to recall. You should be very powerful and you should also be able to burst damage almost all gods.

Overall

In my opinion, Ullr is one of the best gods in the game. With his burst damage potential he can be very defensive, or very offensive. At any point in the game, Ullr is very valuable in any team fight and in my opinion, one of the best gods to play around with. He has some of the highest sustain of all the hunters, and high turn around potential. He has good pokes, good getaways, high damage and defense, and high mobility. He is very versatile, he can be defense, or offense, and ADC, mid, or anything really.
Ullr has mobility, a good escape, 2 buffs, a stun, a lane clear, good pokes, etc... All of these make Ullr a very dangerous god. Make sure to use all of them to maximize your deadliness.

Ok, so, first off, agreed. Ullr is also one of the best hunters in the game imo, criminally underplayed. Props to you for recognizing it.

BUT, bbcoding. Please. Idk where the link is anymore but there's a bbcoding guide on the Mobafire site that shows you how to make guides look pretty. It's difficult looking at blocks of unformatted white text.

Also, double stacking isn't very good. Especially competitively. Transcendence is definitely the best option for Ullr but Soul Eater is a better lifesteal item than stacking another pricey item for Devourer's Gauntlet.

Props for the build, and hope you update it.

Thanks! I'm kind of new to this but this helped me a lot!
