Introduction

This is my first basic guide to Eset
As the mother of magic she has amazing Hybrid potential as a mage or a support. Also her basic attacks can do great damage. As unique she is, there is a necessity of Cooldown Reduction, Magical Power,Movement, and Mana. In my opinion try to view her as a Magical Carry.
She is best played as a Magical Mage. Due to her squishiness she best to be outside any large team fights and help by using your stuns and spells until you know you can secure any kills.

Pros / Cons

The Pros and Cons

Pros
    Great Burst Damage
    Unique Utility- Stuns, Movement, Silence
    Fantastic in Team Fights
    Has High Mobility

Cons
Has low defense and magical powers
    Relies too much on items
No true quick heal( Relies on Ult and Passive)
If Gets behind she doesn't have great damage capability
Relies on lane parthner at the beggining

Items

I learned Eset is really squishy but if build correctly can do a tonne of damage. She needs to stand back in the fights earlier in the game so she doesn't get denied experience she needs.

Also I don't build Isis with lifesteal(except for Polynomicon) because it doesn't really benefit her much. All it gives is an extra 10 health per hit, also considering that each ability takes about 20 seconds before off cooldown + regen is more benefitial.

Boots of the Magi

Basic item of any mages. Give penatration and great Movement Speed.(+ Basic Damage)
Chronos' Pendant

Getting early Mp5 combined with passive makes Mana Potions useless. Also gives 25% cooldown which brings her ult to 45 sec. Also I think of the extra magic power as a bonus.
Book of Thoth

More of a mid game item giving you a whopping 100 MP. Also give more Hp5 and Mana on stacks. The Extra Mana is nice and easier to build.
Warlock's Sash

Originally my third or second item. It gives Bulkiness (Mana and Health) also some magic power. For me its more of a support item to sustain and takes a long time to stack just for the Magic Power.
Obsidian Shard

Great Penatration for bursting bruisers, tanks, or people with high Resist. Also gives a great bonus of 70 Magic Power.
Void Stone

Gives your Magical Teamates Penatration Aura! Also increases sustain and resist for a support Eset
Rod of Tahuti

Amazing Increases Magic Power by 75% + 125 Magic Power brining a Great Damage Boost!
Gem of Isolation

Well because of her chasing abilities it provides a double slow for her silence, and gives some bulkiness. Better for a support because the slow on its passive allows an easier time to secure any kills from fleeing enemies.
Bracer of Replenishment

Aura gives Hp5 + Mp5, Gives yourself more regen, and stacks with your passive! Almost like a personal Fire Giant Buff! Also helps your lane parthner regen quicker too!
Wall of Absolution

Some Physical Defense for all of those carries or assasins. Also gives a decent amount of Magical power.
Etheral Staff

From all those stacks of Warlock, Gem of Isolation, and other items that gave health. This item also gives more bulkiness and provides Magical Power from all the sustain you have collected.
Polynomicon

Though the lifesteal isn't bad, This allows her to finish off ther opponent with twice the amount of Magical Power she has + her basic attacks that depends on her Magical Power gives her a 200% damage basic attack which should be able to give the damaging blows to you opponents running away away.

Ok Items

Bandcroft's Talon is ok it, may give a good amount of Magical Power, but its passive and lifesteal just doesn't fit the play style that Isis should be played as.

Spear of Magus It may give Great Pen and decent Magical Power but I feel that Eset shouldn't be depending on her basic attacks inorder to increase her Skills Potential.

Abilities

Purification Beads

At max rank allows lowered cooldowns and provides immunity to and slows or cc which is ideal when you need to escape. Unlike other supports she doesn't have a spell for immunity or CC immunity (cleanse], [[Undying Love) so in my opinion this is an a necessity.

Heavenly Agility

Allows a quick escape for you and your lane partnher at the beginning or end. She is somewhat depended on her partnher inorder to bruise her opponents and early on help clear minion waves.
Meditation

Helps in the early laning phase by increasing sustain, also allows you to gain more experience because a major flaw for her is that if she gets behind she's sorta useless in the sense of damage.

Skills

Funeral Rites
Isis shares additional HP5 and MP5 with nearby allies. For every player death she witnesses, her aura gains an additional stack (max 10). Stacks reset on death... HP5: 2 HP5 per stack. MP5: 2 MP5 per stack.Attack Progression: 1/1/1.5x damage and swing time.
May not seem like a very nice passive but over time durring the laning phases you can earn enough Hp5 or Mp5 that is equivalent to potions and it shares with allies simular to Gloves of Replenisment. So far this is really her only other healing ability.

Wing Gust
Isis flaps her wings, gaining increased movement speed with no backpedal penalty, and sending forth 4 wing gusts in a line, each dealing magical damage to all targets in their path.

Damage: 35/55/75/95/115 (+40% of your magical power). Gusts spawned: 4. Movement Speed: 25%. Firing duration: 3s. Cost: 80/85/90/95/100. Cooldown: 12s.

This spells has alot of potential for retreating, chasing, or just plain out bursting Gods down. Sadly this is her bread and butter she has combined with her speed mechanic so loose your escape. Also you should remember durring this time you can fly over minions and gods, so that continues the idea of this for a chase or a retreat.
Spirit Ball
As the ball travels, it gains in power up to 1.5x at max range. At any time, Isis can activate the ability to detonate the ball, dealing magical damage and stunning enemies within 10 ft.

Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+70% of your magical power). Stun: 1s. Cost: 70/80/90/100/110. Cooldown: 12s.

Like her other spells amazing for chasing or escaping. This is really a spell that should be followed or be used to initiate a battle. Having an aoe stun and a long range can determine your opponents life or death. Although take time to get used to aimming this is one of her most powerful abilities that really helps secure kills.
Dispel Magic
Isis silences enemies at her target location. Enemies hit also lose a portion of their magical protections and are slowed for a duration. Allies affected by Isis Funeral Rites aura gain the missing protections during this time.

Slow: 35%. Magical Protections Stolen: 10/15/20/25/30%. Protection Steal Duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5s. Silence: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s. Cost: 80/85/90/95/100. Cooldown: 18.

Now this spell creates a devasting combo of stuns, and getting cut up. Again this helps secure kills from chasing enemies. It gives protection to your allies and slows + Silences. What else do you want! Its her all in one defensive and offensive support spell. Although if missed and used improperly could really mess your team up so its crucial to learn how to use this spell!
Circle Of Protection
Allies within its radius take 30% less damage from all sources. All damage mitigated in this way charges up the staff. When Isis activates the staff, it explodes, dealing damage to all enemies nearby and healing all allies based on how much damage was stored

Damage: 160/200/240/280/320 (+50% of your magical power). Healing: 80/100/120/140/160 (+25% of your magical power). Damage Reduction: 30%. Max Charge: 800/1600/2400/3200/4000. Max Charge Dmg/Heal Scale: 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5x. Cost: 80/90/100/110/120. Cooldown: 60s.
May not be the greatest looking ult but it is just awesome. Just know when to use it cause it'll really suck to have it on cooldown, but its cooldown is only 60 seconds instead of 90 seconds. Also i learned this spell could be used very well to solo Gold Fury or Fire Giant. Also it has a burst heal which does the most out of all the healing spells available in the game. So having this ability really helps push the lanes.
Summary
So all her skills and abilities are meant to either help secure a kill, increase sustainibility, or just do raw damage. So so far for me the best combination of these spells i have used are initiating with Spirit Ball then followed by your easy aimed silence Dispel Magic and last but not least catch up and kill using Wing Gust.

Build 1: Damage

Boots of the Magi

So this is my basic Damage build focusing more on Damage rather than sustainability. Allowing a good mana size and great Burst Potential. A good item to end this build is the Gem of Isolation, Polynomicon, and sometmes Bracer of Replenishment.

How to Lane

For the early stages play more defensively and just try to clear the minion waves as fast as you can so you can gain an advantage. Also try to notify when your going to try to intiate a gank in the lane rather than a poke. Also a good buff to get is Blue which means you should be spamming your abilities.(If right go for Cooldown)
Should not solo lane. She doesn't have enough sustain, can't clear minion waves byherself too well in the early game also relies on her partner to get opponent to low health.

Counter/Good Parthners

Counters
Any counters are usually enemies with amazing chase mechanic, great lane pushing, or tanky bruisers.
Best counters are Vulcan, Poseidon, Vamana, and Fenrir

Summary

I just wanted to thank you all for reading my guide. Add Comments on how it works or critizism. Tell me how to improve this guide. Remember this is the basics so adjust based on how the game is going. I would also appreciate if you would +1 for my hard efforts in this guide. Thank you! Also remember she's a glass cannon that shouldn't often solo a lane.

Thanks for the guide, I would like some more justification on the lifesteal items because in games and match people kept telling me to get Bancroft's Talon so can you please try and test that out. Soul eater? It's physical lifesteal!!! It will be super useless on her

what i would suggest is add a section for why you pick up certain items and why not others that seem good. also for your skill build, now personally i think Eset kit all round is damn nice, so its hard to choose, spirit ball does a good amount of dmg and a stun, BUT 3rd rips armor so do you get more dmg from a combo of 1&2 OR will you deal better dmg by getting 1&3?

that should be a good start, good luck with the guide. if you have any questions let me know.

Well first off, Wing gust is chosen first over spirit ball because spirit ball is more a spell meant for ganking and in the earlier rounds one of the major concern is clearing minion waves, quickly. Also her first ability does do a lot of damage but her 2 helps burst down. Also thanks for your opinions helped me improve.
