Sands of Time great item for early mana sustain that give us usefull cooldown.
Gem little amount of intelligence for early push and jungle camps.
Purification Beads this item will allow us to use our ultimate more agressive as we wont be depending on it for CC inmunity.

Pendulum of Ages is the powerful upgrade to your starter item. It synergizes perfectly with
Book of Thoth because it rewards you with even more Intelligence based on your Mana pool, maximizing your damage output.
Spear of Desolation gives you good stats, but the real value is the passive that after getting a kill or assist reduces your cooldowns. In a chaotic team this item resets your abilities faster making it easier for you to deal damage.
Book of Thoth is a fantastic early purchase because
Discordia is a spammy mage who uses a lot of Mana. This item solves your mana problems by giving you a massive pool, and its passive converts that Mana into extra Intelligence.
Rod of Tahuti is your massive power spike for the late game. Its passive boosts your total Intelligence by 25%, making every other item in your build stronger.
Obsidian Shard is your tank-busting tool. As the game progresses, enemy Warriors and Guardians will build magical protection to stop you. This item grants 35% Penetration, allowing your damage to ignore a large portion of their defenses.
Soul Gem adds sustain and burst to your kit. As you hit enemies with abilities, you gain stacks, at 3 stacks, your next hit deals bonus damage and heals you and your allies. Because
Unruly Magic splits into minor projectiles that can hit multiple times,
Discordia can stack this item very quickly for constant healing triggers.
Soul Reaver pairs perfectly with
Discordia's ability to poke from a distance. Its passive deals bonus damage based on the enemy's Maximum Health. Since you are constantly throwing out abilities that hit multiple targets, this item lets you shred through high-health enemies just by landing your standard combos.

Divine Ruin instead of
Spear of Desolation if the enemy has heavy healing (e.g.,
Aphrodite,
Baron Samedi, or high Lifesteal builds).
Ancient Signet instead of
Soul Reaver if they dont have tanks with a lot of HP.
Time-Lock Aegis or
Blinking Abyss instead of
Soul Reaver if you want to have a doble relic.
Divine Ruin
Ancient Signet
Time-Lock Aegis
Blinking Abyss

You should prioritize maxing
Unruly Magic first because it is your primary wave clear and main source of consistent damage. Next, focus on upgrading
Strife to increase your burst damage against enemy gods. Always put a point into your ultimate,
Golden Apple of Discord, whenever it is available for its massive team-fight impact. Finally, upgrade
Erratic Behavior last, as the utility of the stealth and leap works perfectly fine with just a single point in the early game.

Hi, my name is Ragna and I started playing Smite 1 on PC in 2021. I started playing in little community tournaments and after a lot of training and work I manage to play professional tournaments on Atlanta as the Smite Content Cup in 2024 and SCC during 2023.
Now, in Smite 2 I have reached Deity every single split and I have competed in tournaments like Smite Vegas Qualifiers (ending in 5th position of EU) and right now Smite Prime, so Im always getting updated about the best metas on the game.
Apart from that I have a Twitch channel Ragna_smite where we play Smite 2 every single day and we do coaching for the subs to help them to improve on Smite 2, answering questions, talking about the game, etc.
Hope you find this guide as a good starting point for the midlane and to improve your skills with Discordia.

Passive - The teammate with the highest damage dealt automatically gains a buff to their Strength and Intelligence. Additionally, whenever This passive turns you into a "Supportive Carry." Even if you are having a rough game, you will be helping to improve your teammates stats. |

Ability 1 - This is your main wave clear and poke tool. It is devastating in the Jungle where walls are close together. Try to aim near walls so the minor projectiles bounce instantly and hit the same target multiple times for huge burst damage. |

Ability 2 - Creates a rectangular area of chaos. If it hits one enemy, they are Rooted. If it hits two or more, they are afflicted with Madness, forcing them to attack each other. This is your setup ability. The "Madness" is incredibly strong because it groups enemies up for you. Always look to catch at least two gods in the box; this guarantees they stay still long enough for you to land your full |

Ultimate - Throws a massive Golden Apple that bounces off walls and passes through minions. It attaches to the first god hit, damaging and Crippling/Trembling them before exploding in a large area. This ability causes absolute chaos. Because it bounces off walls, you can throw it around corners to snipe low-health enemies. In team fights, just aim for the biggest clump of enemies; the large explosion radius will spread damage and disruption to everyone nearby. |
