Introduction

These are builds that I have tested for high speed hitting, these builds are tested in joust, arena and jungle and each of them must be able to 1v1 a fire giant.

Feel free to edit and use these builds.

Primary Build: High Speed Magebuster

This build is based around a jumping wide distances and hitting the lowest armor and health target.

Mages and other assassins are the primary targets for this class, although if the enemy has made it past you or has made an action to escape deep into their territory it is possible to pounce after them and beat them quickly then pounce back but this attack is very punishable so do not do this unless you know for certain that you can kill them. Another skilled move is to drop your ultimate to distract the tower and phoenix to allow you to jump after them and hit for maybe two or three extra seconds.

Things to avoid:
Guardians and Stunning enemies will wreck you and disrupt your abilities. If a Guardian is spotted targeting you, pounce away and let the warrior or mage do most of the damage to the guardian. Warriors can also do a large amount of damage to you in a short amount of time, but if you can get to the Warrior when something is getting its attention or has stunned it, you can knock him out quickly.

On the Defense:
Your team has fallen back to the guardian, you are the last member of the team alive and you are there 3 on 1. Most players would believe an assassin would stand no chance against a small team but making use of your minions and your guardian to kill the invading team members. You will have no room for error in this situation and one mistaken step will result in your death and possibly the end of your guardian.

The guide for this is fairly straight forward, always hit the mage or rear fighter first, you need to stay out of the enemies's radar so the back most fighter will have to fall quickly or you will not be able to keep up.

Next up will have to be either the heaviest hitting target, if you can toast them while they are distracted by the guardian or buy time for the guardian to kill them, you will leave 1 person remaining and hopefully will buy you enough time for your team members to respawn.

Only under one condition should you target a guardian. If two or more of the remaining enemies are guardians, you will more than likely not slay either of them but if you can distract them for long enough you may be able to allow your team to respawn.

If you manage to buy time for the phoenix to respawn you should take to the phoenix and snipe charging targets and pounce on weaker targets.

Team playing
As per usual, Assassins typically will do their best work with Guardians or Warriors that can take a hit better and stun things. Good team ups I have found are Bastet and either Ymir or Hades. Feel free to post good teams in the replies below to help other team members grow their skills.

YmirXBastet team up
Ymir will be able to frost breath any large target and then you, being Bastet will be able to freely attack the enemy and deal massive damage. Ymir will also be able to throw up a wall of ice to stop the target from escaping and allowing both to attack at will.

Secondary Build: Cat Scratch Fever

This build has been tested much less than Magebuster and is focused around use of the ultimate as much as possible while still maintaining heavy damage and attack speed. You will play this class as an indirector, primarily forcing enemies from breaking their attention from whatever target they had before. The first step to this is to pounce behind the target, it must be behind them generally speaking for most mage like characters, then you must drop your ultimate and do some damage with your cats, then jump away. Unlike the previous build, you need to remember not to make this move offensively because you are supporting a warrior or a hunter while they are able to hit the targets harder without getting targeted fully. This strategy will also be used as your primary mode of defense, spawning the cats and letting the tower/phoenix/guardian not take damage. This build has a much greater chance of death than the other but can have a much greater effectiveness on the defensive for buying time for tougher members of the team to respawn.

Things to avoid
Getting caught by stunning enemies are once again your greatest fear, as well as getting caught by multiple enemies without being able to pounce away. If this happens if you cannot run fast enough to get away, you will surely die. To avoid this from happening you can wait until targets have enough distance between each other to jump behind one and drop the cats to hurt and hopefully kill one. You cannot get too greedy with this build or your enemy will punish you.

On the defensive
Once again, unless you are just able to sweep with your cats you will be buying time for others to respawn. Dropping cats and jumping around the enemy to attempt to deal enough damage to force a single enemy to flee is a good start but if you cannot maintain said power you will not keep up with the damage they are doing. If you are not alone, try to force the enemy into a 1v1 scenario where you take the target with the least amount of armor and health. Using your cats to separate enemy will work effectively but it will only buy you a short window to kill your target.

Team playing
This class teams up well with SunWukong and even a heavy hitting hunter will work as long as they are able to hit strong guardians hard in a short amount of time. Again the guardian teamup will work well too.

Bastet Notes

  • Do not underestimate potions for this character, mana will run dry fast so keep some on you at all times.
  • Fleeing is always an option, no one ever said cats were brave.
  • Learn to adapt to the enemies you are facing, these are guidelines, not rules.
  • Your team might need you to do something else, be ready to switch it up, and modify one of the builds I listed for other uses.

I disagree with the review above which stated that the build needs crit. It absolutely doesn't. Bastet is an ability based god so you need: Power, a bit of CDR and penetration.

You level Declaw at level 6, which is not advised at all. You also level Pounce and Razor Whip simultaniously while you get max damage by leveling Razor Whip first and Pounce second.

The build is confusing and generally bad. Core items should incluse Warrior Tabi and Jotunn's Wrath as long with penetration items like Titan's Bane, although The Executioner is also fine. Lifesteal isn't very good on Bastet so Bloodforge isn't advised.

The rest was already stated in the review above; lack of BBCoding and explanations. I recommend you look at other guides to see how they do it but don't copy them.

-1 for now.

Oops, Gotta learn Bastet more.

It's good

- Trying to do a teamfight section i guess?

It's meh

- Build lacks crit.

- Not a good explanation of how to play with Bastet

- Lacks BBCoding

- Build is confusing

- Lacks Skill section

- Lacks items section.

Tips

- Replace the build, Bastet dosen't work that good without a lot of power.

- could be nice.

- If you want tankyness for Bastet, is not the answer, Try or Magi's blessing

- Try this BBCoding guide:
https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/code-blue-bbcoding-for-beginners-4537 be better at BBCoding.

-Try this guide-writing guide http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/making-a-guide-101506 to be better at guide-writing.

I give this 2/10, Which is a downvote, Pm me if you changed the guide and ii'l be happy to change my vote.
