Build Summary

Notes I normally go for meditation cloak to help me with the camps in the beginning. You can use your own preferred relics. Plus u can replace a potion of ur preference when u want wards.

You don't need "Golden Blade" and you especially don't need "Malice". Having 1 Crit item is useless and hurts her overall damage potential.

You also want to start with "Eye of the Jungle" and avoid using "Meditation Cloak" as there is a penalty to your healing unless you're in a direct fight.

I just now seen why I chose the golden blade bc it goes well with her ulti.

Plus I think I put the wrong sword lmao.

I've already commented about the meditation cloak, I prefer to have it so I can get mankins, if u don't fine by me.

U need at least one crit bro. Plus the only reason I have the Malice in her build is for the cooldown.

These statements are all off and incorrect, no offense. As Gulf explained earlier, 1 crit item makes getting a crit quite unreliable. Crit builds all incorporate at least 50% crit chance for that very specific reason.

Kali is very, very basic attack oriented. She doesn't need the cooldowns nearly as much, though of course ANY god will appreciate cooldowns in a general sense. Her focus is and should be on her basics and the items that will get her the best damage output possible.

And again, Kali gets less out of crits than other gods, mainly due to her basic attack progression. This is why, on the flipside, she gets enhanced effect out of .

Examples of higher-end players playing Kali. It's not that we don't appreciate off-meta builds from time to time, but there's also something to be said about maximizing effectiveness from your build.

I can definitely see as an early game item due to its attack speed, flat pen, and passive. But, like Bran said, if you're going crit, go crit and don't half-*** it. Otherwise you're just wasting gold and an item slot.

Gulf took care of all the items for the most part, so ill just touch on your relics, and consumables.

As a jungle you're not going to be buying double chalice. You're honestly not going to buy either chalice. You'll just start with Hog, and pots. This way you're not investing 600 gold in useless chalices that you have to sell for wards, and get 0 gold back for.

For your actives you got a 50%. Beads is fine, but you'll never buy Med ever, for any reason. Med is really really bad since it scales into the late game terribly, and it is affected by anti-heal so you get even less value out of it vs a good active. You can def go Blink here, and some people even like to go Aegis in the jungle. Fix these things above, and the build, and you'd have a decent guide :D

Hi Cameron,

There was a heavy amount of sarcasm with that initial comment. I think Gulf explained well and covered a lot of the things most people would consider to be weaknesses in the build. These are issues with the build that hold back 's potential, and why you never see higher level players build like this.

At the same time, I do want to say that I think it's great you've made the attempt with your first build. With proper feedback and discussion, these are perfect opportunities to learn.

U can recommend it because I just told u what I do. U can buy whatever relics u want! Plus u can sell either one of the potions for wards lmao.

Yes, well, I don't agree with what you do and outlined why I don't. You have not addressed any of the points I raised, so I'm not going to change my vote.

Just clarifying, while you can sell most items for a partial return of funds, Chalices, while they can be convenient to refill health / mana, sell for 0 gold...you get 0 return. You want those spaces, esp as a Jungler, for wards to help your entire team. Chalices in general should not be a purchase consideration for any Jungler.

What Bran said. I should have clarified that myself. Buying chalices and later selling them is a waste of gold and item slots. You're better off getting a few health potions at the start of the match and then buying wards after you start backing.

Sorry, but I can't recommend this build due to the following reasons:

Meditation cloak is really only useful in Assault because you cannot return to the fountain to heal unless you die. You're better off with Blink Rune and either Purification Beads or Aegis Amulet depending upon what you need.
Going double chalice prevents you from buying wards, which is something you should definitely be buying and placing after you've finished your first item. You also don't need that much healing and mana restore due to Manikin Scepter.
Speaking of scepter, you don't list which upgrade to buy.
Golden Blade should be your first or second item, not your third.
Deathbringer on its own isn't enough if you're going for a crit build, you need at least one other source of crit, like Rage or wind demon. Kali's attack chain means that she doesn't do full damage with every hit (some are only 1/2, but are twice as fast), so crits aren't very reliable on her. Both The Executioner and Qin's Sais increase her attack speed, so she doesn't need crit. I think Hastened Katana would be a better pickup.
I would probably drop Asi and get Bloodforge 5th or 6th (or even as a boots replacement).
