Hey Mudkip,

Suggest not having Rage be built last. Since it requires stacking to get the nice boost in crit chance, it's better to build it earlier.

That said, I'm not sure I recommend Rage at all for him. It's an option, but there are other things you can do that are better options.
  • I agree that building Deathbringer earlier is fine, because you'll get full use out of the bonus crit damage with the ult. This is a build direction that was always considered back in the S1 days.

  • Keep in mind that activating Flaming Spear gives him 20% crit chance. DB adds another 20%, and so getting perhaps 1 more crit item probably would be fine if really needed / preferred. Since Ne Zha lacks direct mobility outside of his ult, I can agree that mobility from Arondight and Musashi's Dual Swords is functional. Musashi also has boosted crit chance (30%), so that's probably fine right there, as it puts you at 60% when the 2 is activated. Rage would overcap you, so you get some inefficiency in the build at that point. If anything, instead of Rage (especially as last item), you might consider Demon Blade instead if you insist on getting more crit chance.

  • Alternatively, you can consider other items. IMO, some of the ones you can consider:

    * Jotunn's Revenge - Significant boost in cooldown
    * Heartseeker - Nice bonus damage on abilities
    * Blinking Abyss - Gives him the engage mobility he lacks...and you keep in mind that his Lash has a crazy long range, so if you're ahead of your team and chasing an enemy, blink-lash-ult can help you catch a far-away enemy, while the ult will give your team time to catch up to help you finish the enemy if needed.
    * Oath-Sworn Spear - Additional flat pen for boosted damage on squishy enemies
    * The Reaper - If you find some added lifesteal is helpful for sustain, but especially if you're in a teamfight, it'll provide a nice boost of health from kills/assists.
    * Pendulum Blade - Situational active for very quick cooldowns especially with Lash to avoid damage and control enemies
    * Brawler's Beat Stick - mainly for anti-heal function if the enemy team has multiple healers and that's causing issues...in a teamfight, your Ring Toss can apply the anti-heal to multiple enemies easily.
