Was watching this. I would say EmilZy knows better than any of us, by far, but he also points out it's for competitive only...meaning, being able to get the most out of a god's kit due to high level teamwork.
*edit* For example, in Casuals, Geb, who he considers S tier, this is very, very dependent on how your ADC uses the shield. Do they know when to continue fighting, or recognize when that shield is their difference between life and death and to retreat ASAP?
Ares can be very pubstompy, and so can Bacchus, but those two are A and B+.
He has Hel in S, and you KNOW you have to be a good player to do well with her.
I agree. Unless you're playing with four other friends and you're all on voice chat, you can't really adopt pro strategies into your gameplay verbatim. You can learn from them and adapt them, but I wouldn't try to play like them unless you really like losing because you cannot always count on your team to follow up properly. I've seen too many randoms who run ahead and get killed then complain because nobody helped them. I've also seen too many who don't know the first thing about teamwork and/or think insulting fellow team members will cause them to become better team players. Anyway, that's a rant for another thread. Basically what I'm trying to convey is that you have to adapt any advice you receive from a professional player to your current situation because even they have to change their strategies depending upon the situation.

Or you can be like the SF clan, and when we're a 5 man and we're all in chat...
We're laughing at each other for forgetting wards
you get GGF hitting his keyboard
Taco screaming "I'm SORRY!!!" as he's running away with 20 health (after getting 2 kills)
Zilby making fun about how the enemy just magically lined up to get nailed by his ult

I agreed, partially, but even in casuals you notice that in late game Geb's shield gives to your ADC and Mid half of their max health as shield, that Fafnir's coerce makes your ADC shoot like a minigun for 5s every 12s, that Terra's ult makes the whole squad run at 180 km/h for 10s and heal like bastards. I mean, certain abilities/kits are objectively powerful.
