Apollo Mid

Ok, so I've been watching the SPL and the move towards hunters in...well, every role they can be shoved forcefully into, and I've been thinking; is there any other hunter besides Neith, Ullr, and MacetodaFace's jank Cupid that can be put in mid? I came to Apollo. He's been ****py this season, ever since the nerf to So Beautiful, but I think he can come back as a mid laner. Sure, he can't clear, but Cupid can clear fine with a Heart Bomb and Throwing Dagger auto attacks. My tentative (untested apart from a few games) build is start Throwing Dagger and pots, then build Heartseeker, Asi, Warrior Tabi, Odysseus' Bow, crit package. Apollo brings the late game presence of a hunter along with good rotations, a mez, and escape potential, while holding down the mid lane. Are there any issues with this idea? Am I theorycrafting myself into oblivion and should probably just play Poseidon or Eset? Please tell me. ^^

Everytime someone does something outside the META, I always think it this way :

If the person believes she can do it, let her do it !

So, I believe you can, just gotta be careful with those Ults ! You'll be easy prey for a Scylla, Poseidon and Janus, but yeah !
