6. Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Can this really NOT be on someone's favorite list? I don't even need to explain this one.
this is NOT in my favorites list. never bet on that Ryan XD
1:pokemon... main games, mysterydungeon's, rangers and everything else.
2:prototype 2... let just say that if i had never played this game i would not have the level of anger controll i have right now and would probebly have been ip banned of this site for the rage i can put out at people. (thought sub said some nasty things? ICEN was a jerk? be happy i have never opened my rage at people).
3: super smash bros... my childhood in a game where my childhood can beat the **** out of my childhood? yes please.
4:legend of zelda twilight princess... OOC combinded with a link to the past? HELLZ YEAH PLEASE! that game is glorious! it improves on everything that OOC brought to the table while being a spiritual successor to LttP!
5:xcom enemy unknown... play that game.playit.playit.playit.playit.playit.playit.playit.playit.
6: dawngate... best moba world! made by the players for the player, i havent seen a single bad designed shaper yet.
7: all 3 the banjo kazooie games... yes even nuts and bolts is a glorious game!
8 any megaman... megaman is awesome. that is the only reason you need.
9: dark souls... hard as balls and you will get addicted.
10: multiple mario rpg's... great story and fun gameplay and hammers!
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.
I know these are your personal favorites/opinions, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with liking that game, but I just have to say, for me personally, "bleh..."
Guess I'll post here. I'm not sure if I even have 10...
1.) Pokemon. Despite being 16 and just starting to play it this February, I bet I can beat every single one of you in a battle, with the possible exception of All4 and Sub. I mean, if you can pull off **** like this (they're all Assault Vest), you can beat any noncompetitive player.
2.) Team Fortress 2. The first game I played competitively, and am actually starting to get into the scene again since I dropped SMITE. The facts that I both played with other people and that it was MY fault I was doing bad, not the game, which I was used to at the time since I only played online flash games, made it very intriguing and first sparked the competitive mindset I have today. And Demoman is the best class - they're satisfying to fill with a faceful of scattergun don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Medic is a VERY close second.
3.) SMITE. This is where I found the most connections in my life, both socially and intrinsically. I found out a lot about myself by playing, not to mention that the game itself is very fun.
Those are by far the top three. After that are games that I don't really play, but I find fun:
4.) DOTA 2. Basically a SMITE with different mechanics.
5.) Portal/Portal 2. Exceptionally fun and well-built, but replayability = 0 and they're finished too fast.
6.) Rome: Total War. The first computer game I ever played. Even on standard difficulty, I was able to win the Gaul campaign, which is the hardest iirc - you have to defeat all four Rome factions - Scipii, Brutii, Julii, and SPQR - yourself. This deserves a special mention.
7.) Sid Mier's Alpha Centauri. Imagine Civilization, but on a distant planet. It had different mechanics than Civ, like needing to build your troops before you could use them and having to create prototypes and stuff, and is overall in the same boat as R:TW.
8.) Okami. OH MY LORD HOW DID I FORGET THIS. I don't care what biases you have against any company or whatever, buy a Wii if you don't already have one, buy this game, and play it. I don't care. Stop reading this post, go out, and buy it NOW.
9.) Minecraft. I was one of the few people who found the game when it was obscure, and when I started explaining it like "Yeah, I play a game you probably haven't heard of before. It's called Minecraft." Today, that's literally a joke; you say that to someone now, they'll laugh.
10.) www.armorgames.com. Yes, I know it's not a game per se, but this needs special mention because for the longest time - like, 3rd grade to 7th - this was the only place I played.
11.) One more that I almost forgot, mostly because a company bought it out and rammed it into the ****hole: Realm of the Mad God. A top-down MMO pixelated bullet-hell medieval-fantasy with the revolutionary concept of permanent death: if you died even once, you had to start a new character, from scratch. SOO much fun, but soo **** at the moment. Seriously, don't play it. **** Kabam.
