in what way? Mana burn does nothing to stop basic attacks, it just makes mages use pots more. Heck, reducing the ease of certain characters to stay in lane isn't actually a bad thing really!
She's a midlaner.
Midlaners like spells.
Midlaners use spells to have fun.
Mana burn = no spells.
No spells = no fun.
Unless you're playing like, Anhur mid, and you don't need spells to do well, this mechanic literally ruins the game of the opposite person. You have to spend more money on pots, you get less items.
It's basically this:
"Reduce the target god's gold income by 150 each time they recall"
Does that sound balanced to you?
no, your fine, I love the idea of mana burn. If an editor (Darkjaw) tells you that it's ok and only 1 non editor says it isn't, I'd listen to the editor ;P. Sloogz is just butt-hurt that people are suggesting things that aren't already in the game. Granted, it should have a fairly long cooldown as to not be OP, but there's no reason that it can't work fairly easily :)

The only thing I'm really bad at is the numbers, knowing how much is reasonable etc. etc. but apart from that, I find these kinds of things fun and instructive as I receive feedback from other players :3
Well, Taunt is just another type of CC. Mana burn literally prevents you from playing the game.
And Taunts don't?
We don't even know what the skill really looks like. How far away can the target be? Maybe it has to be very close range, maybe it's easy to dodge. Maybe it's one of the skills where if you get hit by it, you deserve the punishment.
Make the mana burn a skill **** and there we have it. A good player will easily dodge it and survive while others wont. Good mechanics. I like the idea and i also find the 3 to be interesting. Early game boost to mana will be helpful and can use the alternate side for dmg like a mystical mail.
Overall a good idea. The appropriate numbers on the x and we have a good god :)
