A Note To ALL MEMBERS of the Smite God-making Community!

Hello everyone!

Guys, go take a look at SlowMotionSpeed's gorgeous Persephone God Idea thread. That was what inspired this post, after all.

Most of the god ideas on this forum look messy and unattractive. Too often, we see ides like this:


Passive: Fortitude: Horus regains 10% of his maximum health over 6 seconds after being struck by a damaging ability from an enemy god. This ability can only occur once every 20 seconds.


It's a simply fact of human psychology that we are more likely to favor things that look attractive. Since I don't like certain people with BBC know-how having an advantage in contests and such, and for the sake of the god-idea-making community, I decided to create a template for all of those prospective god creators.

Here it is.

1: Decisive Strike:

Horus swipes at the enemy, dealing 90/150/210/270/330 (+60% of your physical power) damage and silencing them for 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2.0 seconds. Cooldown: 16 seconds

Point is, use this when you post a god idea, and give all our eyes a break. Good luck on all of your god-making adventures.

Eh, I wouldn't consider it a necessity to format it like this, so I'm not 'stickying' it. Just bookmark it if you want future reference to it.

There really isn't much point to necro this, I mean it's not like it's necessary. Just a guideline. As long as its clear and easy to follow, making it fancy is pointless.

I don't mean to necro, but this is helping me so much in my guide that I'm currently making, I'm horrible at BB coding so I literally just copied this in and changed the words.
