Welp, I haven't played Smite for a while because I really just don't have much fun with it. I'm going to be honest here... Ullr seems very boring to me. Of course, I haven't played him so everything I say could be entirely false, but him and Scylla just haven't hit the mark for me. I mean, I had hope for the fact that some of the new gods that were coming out were really fun, well-designed and intuitive, but now it seems like they've gone back to 'rushing' gods and just throwing together a random kit that has no synergy whatsoever. I mean, Nemesis and Chaac were both really fun to play and they felt pretty different as well.
So YOU guys are saying that sub is a skinny, insecure, mommy's nerd boy? :D

His visual design is pretty standard and generic. His playstyle, on the other hand, is very fun.
He is incredibly mana intensive, insanely so. I buy meditate on him at the moment he's that mana heavy. As far as combat goes I follow these guidelines for most situations.
1) Bow is obviously your standard stance for most occasions; it's safer and has strong lane clear.
2) Axe is your, "AHHHH RUN AWAYYYY!" stance, as it has your leap and speed boost. Also turn and stun on pursuers is great.
3) Axe should also be your go to stance for your opener in an exchange or a gank. Leap, stun, switch to bow and fire away.
4) At later levels you'll probably stay in bow for the majority of the time, the 25% attack speed and safety the range gives you just makes it better in that regard.
5) Axe usually gets relegated to being used for health recharging in the jungle or on minion waves. That and using the speed boost to transition between lanes. With one exception:
6) If you find a mage in the jungle, in a one on one situation or a mage gank, getting in their face with speed and stuns is usually a better bet than trading at range.
I build him full damage at the moment. Heartseeker, Deathbringer, Malice etc. etc.
Max 1 first, 2 levels in 3, then max 2 over 3 for the steroid and move speed.
Bow stance 3 has brilliant range so it's a great finisher, and it's artillery style makes it perfect for that last tag over walls if they leap away.
