@SoapSuds: The difference is in degrees of sexualization. Yes, both gods and goddesses are sexualized, but I think that they put it rather heavy on the goddesses. Just compare the % of male gods who look like they could be acting out some sort of bedroom fantasy, and compare that to the % of females.

I feel no god is worthy for bedroom fantasy, so I have no problems

The only problem is that I feel the degrees can't really measure up to each other. I mean, what else can you do to even out the sexualization to males and females when you have a female that is busty and a bit revealing, yet still covered up to a buff, topless male outside of showing his crotch? In our current society, yes, this case would state that the female is more sexualized than the male because of her breasts, which in itself is off to me, but how would we even it out to make the male more sexualized, or even how much would we have to tone down the female to where she's on the same degree as the buff, shirtless male?

I vote that we make all gods/goddesses accurately resemble their origin.

@ SoapSuds: Well, you are right. It's difficult to categorize degrees. That's why I use percentages of very, VERY wide degrees: Not-to-Somewhat Sexualized, to very-sexualized-to-Bone-me-now.

I intentionally didn't put "moderately sexualized," because as you pointed out, that is difficult to define. But that only makes the difference more stark.

For example, Guan Yu isn't sexualized at all, while Athena is slightly sexualized, and both belong in the former category. I think most of us can agree with that.

For the latter, Arachne's "egg sacks", and He Bo, I think?

Does that help clarify my point about ratios?

That's kind of funny, actually. For some reason, seeing breasts in media is a lot more common than any kind of genitalia. I think Americans have a taboo against that, which is understandable. Though this does muddle the issue a bit.

That said, I wouldn't mind a topless Aphro. And I bet 50.941% of people wouldn't mind a topless Thor, either.
