Yeah, I realize how ungrateful I've been recently.

Haven't played Smite in a while, I've been playing a lot of other games, including some other mobas, such as League and HotS.

I decided probably 2 months ago to take a break from Smite. It was getting stale and, well, I wanted something fresh. I, for once in my life, took Smite for granted. Biggest mistake ever.

HotS is fun, but too simple. League is hardly exciting to win, yet rage inducing to lose.

And I decided, well, I might play Smite soon. Idk. Other games have me frustrated, and the things that frustrate me make me realize that Smite doesn't have those problems.

For example, League I find champs who have almost-none/no skill shots extremely annoying to play against because I feel like I'm not losing because I'm a worse player, I feel like I'm losing because, well, they're playing an insanely easy champ. I then realize, in Smite, that's not really that much of an issue. Or not nearly as much. So.

After a month or so of playing League of Legends, I've decided to reevaluate.

Well, basically, the conclusion I've come to is, what makes Smite hard and what makes League hard are completely different things, which is something I didn't understand going into it.

Smite is difficult in the whole concept of landing skillshots, more mechanical sort of things.

League is difficult in a more RTS sort of sense, map awareness, teamwork, etc.

But yet I find League pretty much, well, casual, and much easier than Smite. Which to me is a problem, because I like games that take a lot of skill to perfect.

Why does League still seem casual, even after all of this map awareness and teamwork ****? Well it's a simple explanation.

I've come to the conclusion that, even though what makes Smite hard and what makes League hard are completely different things, well, I find the things that make League hard, easy.

Like I said, what makes League hard are things like map awareness and other RTS elements.

The results are in from the TSA regional competition yesterday.

In Tech Problem Solving, I'm pretty sure me and my buddy got DQed because the catapult we built literally snapped in half when we present it XD All good tho, had a lot of laughs... including the judges, who were laughing at us.

In Technical Sketching and Application, I got 9th place out of not sure how many. Considering I hate tech sketching and guessed on half the answers, pretty damn good xD

In Biomedical Research Essay, out of 8 contenders, I got 2nd place, which means the essay will continue on to the State level, and I have won the 2nd place prize of $35, not bad at all eh?

When I win that bet I made in a little over 2 weeks I'll have about $50!

It was a great time though, really. If any of you are in high school, and enjoy technology, I would highly recommend checking if your school offers TSA, it's really fun to do with friends, not to mention State level competition involves staying at a really nice hotel.
