Coming to the Smitefire Community from the Official Forums

Well, here's my story. I've been on the official Smite forums for about 6 months until I recently got banned. One of the moderators didn't like me which made the community @the Smite forums not fond of me. I tried to bring the civil discussion on hand although all of my threads got flamed/shutdown instantly.


Tried Smite Reddit although I'd rather not. So, is Smitefire a friendly community? Didn't know where else to post this but General Discussion so my apologies.

As long as you don't harass people or shout racial slurs all the time pretty much everyone is welcome here, you won't be shut down just for having opinions (all of our moderators are really cool guys, trust me on this).

Based on looking at the posts you shared and on some other recent ones from your smiteforums profile you seem like a cool guy. That mod from the Penetration post really stabbed at you for no reason, especially considering the fact that he was completely wrong about Obsidian Shard vs. Spear of the Magus ( Obsidian Shard's % penetration is better on one-shot gods and against gods that have built high magical protections while Spear of the Magus is better on gods with DOT abilities and against gods with lower magical protections, pretty much the opposite of what he said).

Regardless of all that, I can't really read this post and not ask this question (please pardon me if this is too forward), what reason did they give for banning you? :o

Miyobi & Irishpotato told me that all of my posts were inaccurate, troll post, & targeting moderators so they permanently banned me from the forums.

At 1st, I was just not allowed to post forums although I was creating a new God Concept (main reasons why I'm on the official Smite forums) & posted on my siggy that if the community wanted to see more concepts from me to message Miyobi why I'm not allowed to post threads. Did it in a respectful manner & that was my 1st offense. I created a similar account called Zelviosx to tell him his actions weren't appropriate & I wanted a real explanation on wh8y I was permanently banned. Apparently, this guy then pretended to be me going on accounts called "Zelvios__" & making multiple troll threads. After that, I received a message on Reddit saying I won't be unbanned due to me making multiple accounts to troll.

Only made 2-3 accounts to check up on things & to help newcomers, welcome people, & to post new things for Season 3. When I said those accounts weren't me Miyobi & Irishpotato said: "Unless it's a spoof than that's you". Irishpotato has threatened me with my IP address in the past before as well. I also won the last God Concept challenge although because "my friends voted for me" the moderator picked the 2nd highest concept as the winner. (Which really wasn't good no offense. Looked like Ymir's kit on steroids)

Plus.. It was pretty rude when he posted on my Su Daji concept (Why is this still getting attention while my concept hasn't gotten any?) .. To top it all off instead of messaging me his concept he posted the link to his concept on my concept.. I didn't mind it although that's pretty rude.

After he announced the winners some people even complained about how biased he was with picking the winners. Apparently, if someone only voted for your concept one then that was considered biased. (Which didn't really make much sense)

Gong, a semi-famous forumer on the official forums only voted for my concept & I don't even know him. I wonder if he counted that towards my votes. (He also didn't count Rifle's + Swingings for some reason)

Anyways, I knew somehow even if I were to win I wasn't going to win anyways. I asked Kaios why he wasn't entering the concept contest because he writes hundreds a concept; well, now I have my answer :/

Wow, they seem like a nice bunch of moderators.

You'll fit In great round here, like Zilby said the moderators, abd generally everyone, here are really cool down to earth people.

Everyone has their own opinions round here, but they also tend to respect everyone else's as well.

I just had a look at your profile on the official forums, and it seems as if there was actually many reasons to ban you. You consecutively called other people "unintelligent" and "stupid" and "jerks" (to name a few), you had post count of 33 per day (which to me seems more like spamming rather than posting insightful and helping content) and you constantly made remarks about mods "not doing their job" when minor things slipped through their radar on a rather huge forum.


Don't act like you were a perfect dandelion back then. I know people can change and reform, but at least admit that there might have been reasons for your ban.

I'm almost sorry I asked, that just sounds like a cluster**** of problems. I know for a fact though that our mods need more of a justifiable cause to get on your *** than that though, we need proof to our pudding not just vague suspicions :P

Btw, one thing cool about smitefire is the level of customization you can get. I know on smiteforums you're way more limited in what you can do with your icon and sig, but you're free to do pretty much whatever here as long as it's not something ridiculous like pornograhy.

Please give examples of this. On every thread, people flamed me for no reason while I included a word wall/counter argument. Please show me multiple examples of me trolling/targeting someone. If you look at my profile you'll see all the threads I've made had a purpose/conversation to it.

I'm a serious kind of person & I don't appreciate lies. I don't blindly insult people for no reason nor judge them on previous actions.

Penetration post - Don't see how that's bad behavior considering I couldn't comprehend his statement. That was pretty ******ed to say considering I couldn't understand any of it. Did I call him ******ed? No, I simply said his statement sounded ******ed.

Well, considering my whole team was magical & none was Guardians I could call that a ******ed team for a ranked match. Just build magical defense & we lost. Just spoke the truth m8.

I might've been in the wrong with ImArt although he's always going off topic & flaming every thread so I could care less about that. How about the threads/conversations I've posted? You don't see me going off topic/flaming someone for no reason. Anyways, calling someone ******ed & calling their actions ******ed are two very different things. Darling, you'll learn this in school as time goes on.
