Are you sure about Attacker's Blessing on Zhong Kui? I thought physical gods get much better use from the item? I would alternatively consider Mage's Blessing or Warrior's Blessing.

Another problem or two is that your build has no magical or physical defensive options and lacks a 6th item.

Yep. That's a good way to get shut down hard in duel because you're the focus of your enemy. Also, get Mage's Blessing instead of Attacker's Blessing because the CDR will help more than the paltry pen. Oh, and only get Obsidian Shard if you're going up against someone who builds a lot of magical defense.

I also forgot about tier 2 Bancrofts rush on duel as well.


Also: I had a duel match recently against a Zhong Kui while I was playing Chronos and he built Bancroft's Talon (Rushed Bancrofts like me), Shoes of the Magi, Gem of Isolation, Divine Ruin, Bulwark of Hope and Spear of the Magus. His build was pretty good but lategame I went double lifesteal so he could have gone Pestilence instead of Bulwark of Hope. Regardless, he pressured and killed me for most of the match so I had to phoenix/Titan camp and then got chances to kill him and did, but the second time it happened I died trying to end quickly as he was respawning soon which unfortunately for me lost me the game. http://smite.guru/match/ps/129833909

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
