Xbalanque is a physical ranged god.

Dead Of Night(P)
Any enemy gods that Xbalanque kills while Darkest of Nights is active increases his physical power by 5 permanently, maxing out at 30 additional physical power.
Even though it may seem good it only helps if you fire off Darkest of Nights when all enemies are almost dead in a fight and finish them with Poison Darts and Rising Jaguar.

Branching Bola(1)
When Xbalanque toggles on this ability, his basic attacks deal an additional 10/20/30/40/50 physical damage. When the bola hits, it splits into 2 that hit enemies up to 30 feet behind the target for 30% damage (On-hit effects do not apply). Right clicking cancels the toggle.
Cost - 11/13/15/17/19 mana per shot.
This is a useful ability for quickly taking out towers or chasing a low health enemy god.

Poison Darts(2)
Xbalanque shoots 10 darts in a cone in front of him, dealing 30/50/70/90/110 (+40% of your physical power) physical damage. An enemy can be hit by 3 darts, with the other 2 doing 30% damage. Enemies hit are poisoned for 3s, taking an additional 10/15/20/25/30 (+20% of your physical power) physical damage every .5s and are slowed by 3/6/9/12/15%, increasing with Focus up to 40%.
Cost - 70/75/80/85/90 mana.
Cooldown - 18/17/16/15/14s
This ability is helpful for chasing gods and work great with his third ability Rising Jaguar

Rising Jaguar(3)
Xbalanque rushes forward and then jumps into the air. While in the air, he fires darts at all nearby enemies, dealing 80/130/180/230/280 (+40% of your physical power) physical damage. Any enemies that were poisoned by Xbalanque take 30% more damage.
Cost - 60/70/80/90/100 mana.
Cooldown - 16s.
This ability is amazing if you combo it with Poison Darts for the extra damage and also serves as I means of a get-away because you can move while in the air.

Darkest Of Nights(4)
Xbalanque shrouds enemies in darkness for 3s. During this time, Xbalanque's basic attack range is increased by 40 ft and his movement speed is increased by 20/30/40/50/60%, increasing with Focus up to 100%. At the end of the darkness, any enemy gods moving at the time are stunned for 1.5s, increasing with Focus up to 3s.
Cost - 100 mana.
Cooldown - 90s.
Since it is the first Global Ultimate in Smite it serves well in many things
Boots of Celerity provides two very important things for early game chasing cooldown reduction and most importantly movement speed. I think that this is a must have item for any good ranged chaser/damage dealer.

Devourer's Gloves
Next I take Devourer's Gloves to build stacks and get lifesteal for late game. This is a very good item just for the fact that is cheap and at full stacks gives you 50 physical power. You could change the Devourer's Gloves with the Golden Bow or Titan's Bane depending on the situation.

Since Xbalanque is a ranged god he needs attack speed and physical power and that is just what The Executioner brings to play. Along with its passive that reduces the enemies physical protection this is a must have in my build.

Next I take Hide of the Nemean Lion for mid-game protection and a little boost in health, but the main reason I get it is because of the passive. The passive returns 30% of damage dealt to you in basic attack back to the enemy, this is very useful against low-mid health carries who are trying to pick off a fast kill.

For extra attack speed I take Qin's Blades for physical damage, health, and attack speed. Also with its passive which deals 2.5% of an enemies full health is very useful for speeding up a kill.

Deathbringer is that one item that every physical build should have. Not only does it provide a large amount of physical damage, but it also buffs critical damage and gives a higher percentage of critical hit.
