The Intro

so yeahh time has passed since my last guide.. (a year but whos counting). Time to do another one! let me reintroduce myself

i am Allied of SNIPE Gaming. I play the hunter role for the team now! I am currently Top 10 in Masters league of conquest ranked. This is my Ah Muzen Cab guide of how i play AMC currently in patch 1.0.2215.10. He is a solid undervalued hunter with crazy carry potential.

This is my 2nd guide so yeah constructive criticism pleaserino. Hope this helps aspiring hunter mains trying to add more to their gameplay. reminder this is a conquest guide.

Pros / Cons

Pros

    Great lane pushing
Good harass with his DoT (damage over time)
    Attack speed steroid
    Increased movement speed with hives
    Great lane control
    Excellent Dueling/1v1 potential
    Excellent late game hyper carry

Cons
    pretty bad early game
    No escapes
    Insanely squishy
    susceptible to ganks
has a lot of counters in lane to other hunters
requires extremely precise positioning in teamfights

Skill explaination

Here how to use each skill!

Passive - Bees!

this passive is ok as far as damaged is concerned. It's not the best but it isn't the worst out of the hunters. IMO the true use of this passive is for the conceal/stealth reveal making him a soft (and i mean soft)counter to Loki / Nu Wa invisibility during teamfights / engagements.

Hive

This ability is honestly Ah Muzen Cab's best ability because this is what makes him a carry machine. It gives great hp5 / passive attack speed and movement speed. It literally has everything a hunter would ever want. The downside however if the Hives get taken out during a teamfight it lowers your DPS considerably so it is super important to place each hive with extreme care in the engagement area or in laning phase.

I max this ability 2nd for the lane sustain, passive movement speed and attack speed

Swarm

Great ability for push. It is hard to use this ability offensively because it can be pretty easy to dodge however combined with Honey you can get some pretty serious damage off during laning phase. It also scales really well going into mid-late game.

I max this ability first for the lane clear

Honey

This ability is ok. Having suffered from tons of nerfs over the patches it isn't as potent as it used to be. However still really good, it has a small slow and decent damage over time. This ability is primarily used for harass because of its DoT and the slow sets you up for hitting your auto attacks and closing in on the target.

I max this ability last

Stinger

Ah Muzen Cabs ultimate is really strong and can create the lockdown you and your team needs to get a kill. It does a considerable amount of burst damage with really good scaling. It also cripples the target for a short period of time making them unable to escape. What really makes this ultimate insanely useful is the 'retrieval' part giving AMC free cooldown reduction if he picks up his stinger. It's extremely useful in small engagements / teamfights because having your ultimate every 15 seconds is... pretty nice.

i max this ability when available

Early / Mid / Late game

game play video

Early laning phase level 1-11

It is pretty important as Ah Muzen Cab to grab mana camp at level one. AMC uses a ton of mana and it is very easy to run out of mana extremely quick during laning phase even with blue. During these levels with your support your primary concern is waiting for your power spike and maintaining lane control. The easiest way to do this is to push the lane Ah Muzen Cab is one of the best pushing hunters early levels use that to your advantage to mask your extremely bad early game your primary concern at all times is pushing the wave, harass as soon as you have wave advantage over them while being mindful of the enemy support / ganks. They can't kill you if they have a full minion wave on them.

Mid game skirmishes level 11 - 15

Once you get around rank 3 of your Hive that is when Ah Muzen Cab starts getting really dangerous. You become a DPS machine with the ability to even solo gold fury depending on how far ahead you are. At this point you want to keep extreme lane pressure on the other hunter because you will be able to out duel him. However if you can't you want to rotate using your hive movement speed after clearing the wave to start some small skirmishes for gold fury.

It is extremely important though to remember AMC is extremely squishy so you want to focus on positioning and baiting while trying to maximize your DPS during the engagements because you will be a focus target due to you not having escapes. This is where the movement speed from Hive comes in handy.

Late Game teamfighting level 15-20

At this point you should have full build or almost full build and you want to teamfight. Poking and hitting the targets closest to you is of the utmost importance because you cannot compromise your positioning. Anything in the game pretty much as the ability to blow you up however if you are left unchecked you can easily win a teamfight for your team with your insane dps. You are a tank melter so don't be afraid to just kill the support / solo laner. Ah Muzen Cab also destroys objectives and can easily push towers and destroy fire giant / gold fury at this point by himself or with his team.

You want to have your support / jungle initiate a fight and follow up to the best of your ability from a distance. remind everyone on your team to peel for you and remember sometimes depending on the enemy team comp you are just destined to die. Deal as much damage as possible before you go down!

Hunter Matchups

Artemis 3-7 in her favor

This matchup is extremely scary because of Artemis kill potential 1v1 and harassment. The saving grace to this matchup is the fact that she cannot outpush you. Push safely and back up because you are going to need a gank for this matchup. It is possible to beat her 1v1 however requires a lot of luck on your part and misplay on her part.

Apollo 6-4 in your favor

You should have an easy time vs any Apollo in lane. He doesn't have that much kill potential and he can't outpush you or outharass you. However the worst thing to happen is that he rotates with his ultimate and picks up some kills getting an advantage over you. Apply pressure and look for mistakes and you can score some kills 1v1 on him going into midgame. Apollo can outduel you but if played correctly you should have the upper hand

Anhur 7-3 in your favor

This matchup is very straight forward and easy. Outharass and outpush anhur and only commit to killing him when he is poked out. if you fight Anhur on even ground he can very easily kill you with a impale -> Ult combo. However with the tools you have you should very easily outscale him, outpoke, outharass and outdamage him.

Cupid 5-5

The reason i put this as even because Cupid has a lot of kill potential and can very easily turn a duel one sided considering how squishy AMC is. It is hard to outharass him as well because of Share The Love. To win this matchup you need to outpush Cupid and rely on the fact that you are going to out carry / out scale him considering you scale harder going into mid-late game because of your Hive. Just don't underestimate Cupid!

Neith 5-5

This matchup becomes a really boring farm lane because of how safe Neith is and how much sustain she has in her kit. You both push really hard so kills don't happen often in this lane, however be careful one good Spirit Arrow and you can easily be set up for a kill!

Rama 7-3 in his favor

Rama currently hasn't been nerfed and just hits like a truck and scales like a monster. He has a ton of kill potential due to his ultimate Astral Barrage and can push just as hard as AMC. Aim for passive play in this matchup unless you really outskill him because one misplay and you can die from his ultimate at around 40% HP making this a pretty scary matchup.

Ullr 6-4 in his favor

Papa Ullr has been nerfed a ton but that doesn't mean he still doesn't do a ton of damage. Ullr in one swift combo can put Ah Muzen Cab below half health so it is really important to dodge his Bladed Arrow / Thrown Axe so he doesn't set up his combo on you. Other than that aim to outclear and outscale him because you are going to have to severely outplay an Ullr to kill him 1v1 which requires more misplay on his part to miss his abilites.

Xbalanque 5-5

Xbalanque is honestly quite scary if played correctly because of his ability to commit 100% and kill AMC. The key things you want to abuse in this matchup is hiding behind the creeps to absorb his Poison Darts harass and avoid his combo into Rising Jaguar, The fact that Xballer cannot push the lane to save his life having some of the worst push out of all the hunters and trying to keep him shut down from getting any kills early game so he doesn't snowball off his passive. If you can do these three things you can very reliably transition into a health mid-late game and maybe even kill him a couple of times in laning phase.

Hey Allied, good to see you back here and hope you will keep making some guides :D

nitpicking:
Remove the intro from the Odin guide maybe (copy/past hard)
Rama 3-7 in his favor
Ullr 4-6 in his favor

Easy to read, short and good information.
Some ppl would want item explanation, but I do not think it is needed.

I don't know I almost never go fatalis anyway

I'm not a really good adc (and in casual) and most of the times I have a support that doesn't do his job that well IMO (taking kills when playing xbalanque (in laning phase and like 2-3 kills in a row) or not even peeling or looks like he is ging to initiate but retreats just before etc.) I don't end up dying a lot in late game but my early game is most of the time rather week because of this.

Transedence needs far too long to be finishd, and if you are a good adc you gonna be doing much better with HS and Dev. if you go with the double stack.

Btw i like this guide small and easy to understand, no wall of text or sth. like that. So yea.

I normally only need to play 2-3 hives (1 behind tower) and 1 in the lane (sometimes a second further up the lane. because most of the time they don't spot them. (those jungle entrances are useful sometimes XD) But most of the time they are behind me.

you can't clear with honey without hives (I render honey useless without hives. the slow is way to low.)

a btw that vid is so outdated LOL. And you forgot the amc vs amc in match ups (well if taht isn't a 5-5 but still you can tell some things to watch out for etc)

Brawlers beat stick is situational however in most cases you don't need it. it is better to have your team build divine ruin or get brawlers beat stick last item because the last item is really flexible.

i agree though i most likely should of put an items sections. oh well i'm lazy

I didn't know there was a pro guide maker. But still some criticism.

This guide misses like 1 paragraph: the items one.

For me your skill order is a bit weird. I normally start going with as second skill in hives and 3th in Honey. But after that it's the same (with going 4-2-1-3). (I think it is because I don't poke a lot with my 2 early game but throw it over the minion wave.

The build:
Well I know adc have like 1 build. but there are some other items that work really well on AMC. Like you said even with blue amc runs quickly out of mana. This is why I take Transcendence a lot of time. And so there are a lot more items being good on some situations (like brawler's beatstick against an annoying Hel or Aphrodite)
