Pross and cons

First and most important - I am not a native English speaker, so don't blame me for that, I do my best to improve. And guide is alwo WIP

Pros:
+++ High poke potential.
+++ Two stances.
+++ Flexible into 4 roles.
+++CC immune in ground stance ult.
++ High risk but High reward character.
++ Plenty of ability.
++ 5 CC in her entire kit.
++ Split push potential.
++ High sustain.
++ High health and mana pool.
++ Can take two bufs.
++ High late game pressure.
++ Can clone buff she get and give it ally.
+ Very high short–time survivability with Hardened Scales.
+ Bigger than average mage defence.
+ Have Leap and Dash.
+ Plenty of backline utility.
+ Loving mother.

Cons:
––––– To utilize her potential fully forced to make close range fight being a ranged mage. Very risky god to play.
–– Very voulnerable when her Hardened Scales fading.
––– Long stance switch cooldowns.
––– Low damage as for mage and burst potential.
––– Weak early game.
–– Technicaly no ultimate.
–– Dificult.
–– High risk but High reward character.
–– All flying stance ability requires good targeting and difficult to hit with. Hard to confirm damage. Risk of losing damage and get punished.
–– Mana eater.
–– Weak to early pressure.
–– Early game lane clear not best.
Split push makes her team–core character and creates team requirements.
But she will relish in your destruction!

Abilities

Death Begets Life

Sustain and defence passive
While in Flying stance Tiamat gains health from nearby ally and enemy deaths, less from minions. In Ground stance she gains up to 5 Hardened Scales, damage mitigation that breaks after a certain amount of damage is taken.
In flying, regal stance Tiamat gains sustain that may help her to survive longer and allows her to flex into different roles. While in ground stance her passive gives her armor, which is crucial with her aggressive playstyle and lets her survive in close fights being a mid mage.
Her armor is a quake–like armor type that absorbs part of the incoming (after damage reduction from defense) damage and, the amount of damage into armor health is the same as the remaining damage Tiamat takes after absorption
+++ Self heal.
+++ Defence stacks.
++ % mitigation applies after defence.
++ Good base mitigation %
––– Different bonuses in different stances.
–– Aggressive stance survivability is depends on the Hardened scales living time and they may fade very fast.
Normal minions doesnt provides hardened scales
Bigger % mitigation requires having more magical power and less defence.
Hardened scales dificult to notice mid fight.
Requires big attention to passive meter and micro management.

Primordial onslaught

Flying stance Range lane projectile
Tiamat gathers power from her creation, allowing her to fire formless orbs of the world–shaping energy at the end of the channel, each orb of such chaotic primordial energy breaking the ordered form of the World, damages enemies and stops on enemy gods.
High risk and high reward ability type being the main Tiamat's damage ability in flying stance and main lane clear ability in general. Can be shot earlier with less projectiles.
++ Highest damage in Tiamat kit. (high reward)
+++ Can hit trough obstacles.
++ Pretty fsat cooldown.
++ Hit trough minions.
+ First projectile trigger item effects.
+ Each projectile hit counts as single hit.
+ Each projectile can have its own trajectory.
––– High risk of losing damage by multiple reasons.
––– Requires good aim to hit moving enemy with all projectiles. (high risk)
––– Gathering power takes long time
––– Can be interrupted earlier via CC that causes losing next projectiles.
Can be interrupted while wind up.
––– Hitting the same enemy deals less damage each time.

Consume

Ground stance close range damage
Tiamat fires a cone dealing damage and slowing enemies hit. Minions, Large Monsters, or Buff Holders hit under a health threshold are executed. Tiamat can immediately consume her Serpent and Beast pets to provide a Hardened Scale.

Close range combat ability is creating cone damage area in front of Tiamat and dealing the biggest damage in her Ground stance. Combined with Outburst provides good chasing potential which reflects Tiamat's rage and furious aspect! When Tiamat consumes a Buff Holder she gains their buff while the original can still be picked up by allies. This allows Tiamat to pick up a second buff as well. Tiamat can only have one consumed and one regular buff at a time.
+++ Biggest damage in ground stance.
+++ Area damage.
+++ Can double buffs.
++ Instant cast
+ Pretty fast cooldown.
++ Minions execute.
+++ Can be used to safe confirm minion kill and steal them from the enemy.
+ Slow.

Execute and buff capabilities needs to swap stance.
––– Being a short–range ability shares the same slot with the ranged ability of flying stance, may provide problems with leveling priorities.
–– Short range
Short slow duration.

Ruination

Flying stance aoe damage
Tiamat creates a field that tears the World causing a release of streams of destructive primordial chaos's energy dealing low damage to enemies in the entire area and then a larger amount in the inner area. The inner area of the field also stuns enemies for a short duration.
Another one Hard to aim but high reward range ground target ability in the Tiamat kit. Helps her to deal ranged damage in her flying stance coupled with primordil onslaught, to clear waves, and objective steals due to fast cast time compared to all her flying stance ability.
+++ Hight damage (by Tiamat standards) if hit with both areas.
++ Ranged damage ability.
++ AoE abbility type.
++ Inner area has stun CC.
+ Pretty fast cast time.
––– Hard to aim and hit with both areas.
–– Descent damage by mage standarts.
–– Has some delay that gives the enemy chance to avoid inner area or even whole ability. Predictable.
Low stun duration.

Ruination

Ground stance aoe damage
Tiamat slams the ground in rage making the very matter of the World she created obey its mother's will, creating seismic rifts stagger that erupts in succession in front of her, damaging and knocking up enemies hit.
Close range AoE ability in ground stance. Provides Huge zone damage and knocking up all enemies in that area. Good for slowing enemies combined with Consume slow. Both abilities provide good chasing potential reflecting Tiamat's rage and furious aspect!
+++ High damage (by Tiamat standards) if hit with both areas.
++ AoE abbility type.
+++ Knockinng up all enemies in the area.
+ Wind up animation can be used to correct ability direction.
–– Area damage separated for segments with delayed activation which sometimes allow the enemy to avoid ability with specific move directions
Being the main damage ability in Tiamat's ground stance shares the same ability slot with secondary damage ability of flying stance.
May cause unwelcome activation of Stone of Gaia.


Grounding Dive

Stance switching leap
Tiamat unleashes her rage, stops fighting from a distance, and dives into the fight with her teeth and claws, landing on all fours, dealing damage, and switching to her Ground stance. This ability also provides Tiamat one Hardened Scale.
Stance switching ability from flying stance into ground stance. being a leap very useful for escapes but not always 100% chance to survive. This ability also deals little damage in a small area around so better to use it too.
+++ Leap!
++ Has AoE damage!
+ One extra hardened scale.
+ Being a leap may help to avoid some damage.
––– Very very long cooldowns especialy in early–mid game.
–– Has wind up and can be interupted.


Rising Flight

Stance switching dash
Tiamat rears up sending out a blast of energy, dealing damage to enemies, and sending herself backward as she returns to her calm and patient Flying stance.
Ground stance dash that can also be used as movement ability with some practice. Has a much shorter range that not allow this ability to be very safe to escape bad situations. Dash does not allow to avoid obstacles as her Grounding Dive.
++ Dash
++ Has AoE damage!
+ CAn be used as movement ability in some situations.
––– Very very long cooldowns especialy in early–mid game.
–– Dash has short range.
–– Has wind up and can be interupted.
Can not be used to avoid obstacles.


Tempest of Undoing

Frontline utility ability
Tiamat causes a celestial outburst around her, dealing initial damage and a damage over time effect to every enemy nearby.
Tiamat also gains one Hardened Scale per enemy god hit.

Short cooldown and low damage ability but with big utility potential. Technically this ability not an ultimate because of low damage, but plenty of useful effects make this ability very useful with such a short cooldown. This ability makes Tiamat CC immune for 1 sec every 20 sec. DoT damage is also very useful to kill confirm. A very big AoE radius makes Tiamat able to hit as many enemies as possible which also gives her very important Hardened scales Grounding Dive.
+++ Very short cooldown as for ultimate.
+++ CC immunity!
+++ Very big AoE
++ DoT damage.
++ Short cooldown allows to use this as regular ability.
+ Easy to get Hardened Scales.

–– High cost as for non–ultimate ability.
––– Very low damage as for ultimate.
Long cooldown as for non–ultimate ability.
––– Mentioned to be used midst enemies.


Children of Creation

Backline utility ability
Tiamat is able to summon one of her children onto the battlefield.
++ Short cooldown as for ultimate.
+ Many utility effects (slows, DoTs, healing, Hardened Scales)
––– Being backline utility ability still counts as ultimate may cause activating of item effects out of fight.
––– Long cooldowns.
All summons shares one cooldown.

Summon Serpents

Lizard dudes!
Tiamat places a pit of creation which spawn Serpents of Tiamat that act like minions, traveling down lanes and attacking nearby enemies.
Tiamat place pool that spawns minions every 10 seconds. These bois will walk through the lane and makes the minion wave stronger, able to push the lane without Tiamat's presence. They also may give little extra exp, stealing it from allies. Lizard dudes can also be used to get big healing and Hardened scales (even if they die near). Enemies hit by the serpents have their damage done reduced. Enemies can also stand on the pit to destroy it early.
++ Split push
++ Allow to leave lane.
+++ Their damage counts as Tiamat's damage. May leech.
++ Tiamat's personal supportive potential with healing and enemy damage reduction. (may be useful with objectives)
++ Walking extra healing and Hardened Scales
+ Walks and looks funny. and Monch monch monch.
––- Suicide against phoenixes and titan.
–– They realy silly and gonna attack lane objectives.
–– Very fragile. Easy to kill
–– Low damage.
–– Micromanagement and smart using is needed.
Requires game knowlage and team cooperation to use it effectively and for split push. (flood lane with them not always such effective as it sounds)

Summon Beast

Bull!
Tiamat calls forth Kusarikku who stands guard at the target location. If an enemy god comes too close, he charges, slows and attacks them.
Another child of Tiamat. He older than small lizard bois and always ready to protect mother from any aggressive God entering area around. Has some utility potential for some situations: For chasing enemies with initial dash's slow; For annoying poke damage; as for standby beakon\ward; Can take some tower damage instead of Tiamat and also minion wave will attack Kusarikku instead of Tiamat
++ Dash.
++ Slow.
+ Will chase enemy and daage them until die.
++ Keeps enemy minion and tower atention at himself and can tank some damage.
+ Can be used as ward and for ambush.
––– Dash has limited range and can be avoided (and initial damage too) with enemy's movement ability.
–– Has leash range and dies if enemy leave this radius.
–– Attack only gods and not pay atention to lane minions. Can not be used to defend lane.
Has some health but still dies fast.

Summon Storm

Moving tornado!
Tiamat calls on the power of Umu dabrutu, conjuring a violent storm that follows enemies before knocking them upward and dissipating.
The only damage ability in Tiamat summons potential. This tornado will follow the closest enemy (gods have priority), deal initial hit, and DoT. This ability is AoE and will fully affect every enemy (initial hit will procs no matter of time) in its range, but follow only one.
+++ Biggest damage in Tiamat's kit.
+++ Knock back.
++ Follow enemy.
++ AoE.
++ DoT.
++ Initial damage will be aplied at any stage.
+ Short cooldown as for damaging ultimate.
––– Knock up can not be disabled. May accidentally activate Stone of Gaia. Enemies can even use that to heal themself by stepping in at last second and getting only inital damage and knock up.
–– Slow speed.
–– Has spawn delay and can be avoided.

I'm fairly new to this game so for me it's hella confusing lol between pen and dmg build. Any suggestions?
And what about skill points?

Conduit / Shroud, Chronos' Pendant, Charon's, Divine / Soul Gem, Reaver, Tahuti (or Typhon's with Shroud), Gem of Focus (or Sacrificial Shroud / Bloodsoaked Shroud)

Or, Sand's, Charon's, Deso/Divine, Soul Gem, Reaver, Tahuti, Pendulum.
