Introduction

Ok, so a little info before you read this. I am in no way a professional player, but I love playing Smite.

My Smite Username: InsanityFace

Why Items?

So in this build half of your items are defense, and the other half is offence. Hide of the Urchin gives you +65 protections (a lot), but only if you finish stacking it. However, the kills and assists you get before you finish the item (Hide of the Urchin) don't count, so its best to max this out early. Next, Warrior's Tabi and Devourer's Gauntlet. Ok, so many people will say that you should switch the order of those two items. That is okay, but the gain or lack movement speed could seal the kill OR seal your death. Devo gloves (I call them this) when finished will give you 60 physical power and 25 physical lifesteal. It gives you lots of sustain, which adds on top of Chaac's built-in sustain (rain dance). Fourth item is back to some defence, Mystical Mark. This item not only gives you health and protections, but its aura effect is very strong. It helps clear, it helps do extra damage, and it helps secure kills. Last defencive item is Stone of Gaia. MORE SUSTAIN! That 25 extra hp5 (health per 5 seconds) gives you a total of 48hp5. Just for a point of reference, a health potion gives you 50 hp5. So its basically like having a 24/7 health potion. Finally, the last item, Qin Sais. Again, you could argue that Executioner is better, but I honestly just like the passive: an extra 5% of the enemy's health in damage in your basic attacks.

Why Skills?

There are many ways to upgrade your skills. I believe that the best way to start with Chaac is his first ability, his axe. This gives you amazing poke (great when you are laning) and great clear. Next get rain dance for some healing. Finish with Torrent. And, of course, upgrade your ultimate whenever you get the chance. Now, during one place in the skill upgrade, you could skip upgrading for one level and upgrade two on the next level. This is when you get to level 8. My recomendation is to only do the ability skip in maps like siege, joust, arena, etc. where you get auto xp. In conquest, upgrading rain dance is better because it takes longer to level up.

Conclusion

Chaac is an awesome character in Smite. I hope you liked my build and I will hopefully be doing lots of other builds for other characters. THANKS FOR READING!

Too add something up by the comment above.

It misses a pros & cons, teamwork, gameplay
the items and skill section needs to be improved (mostly in bb-coding)

This is just a wall of text and has no bb-coding I recommend you check out the code blue bbcoding guide from jordinito (His guide)

And now the build. I do get that the part between beads and aegis is a choice. It is a nice build between damage and defense. But I don't find the Devourer's Gauntlet fitting for chaac. He already has a lot of sustain with his passive and his Rain Dance. also do you build Stone of Gaia boosting your health regen even more. I should sooner take Jotunn's Wrath for the extra pen and cdr, because this build just lacks cdr and you need cdr on him because then you can use your rainstorm and thunderstrike more. Also missis this build pen. quinns give some against tanks but that's it. Jotunn's gives a some flat pen.

Also to make things better in the builder make a starter tab a core tab and situational and an example build/recommended build (See this guide as example)

I don't have to say anything over the skill order that's good in my opinion

I hope you can do something with this (the part about your build is just what I find working better)

Well, a nice attempt but it feels unfinished.

1)Why'd you call it "The Noob's Guide to Smite" ?Smite isn't all about Chaac.

2)BBCoding.There's a "Getting started" and "BBCode" guides under the "God GUides" tab.Read those and implement some of the stuff in here.\

3)If you're not gonna do 2) at least brake up the text into smaller chuncks, so that it's reasier to read.

4)GIve some more info. Not just on items/abilites.What's his role in team fights? Which ememies will he have problems with and which will be easy for him? What are his wake spots? etc. etc.

5)Also, how are you supposed to get beads, when both of your active slots are used?

Sorry but for now it's going to be a downvote.JUst needs a little more polish.
