When against again a guardian or warrior, you need to harass early game. Mostly just clear minions and deal damage to enemy gods, without really engaging them. Spam rune of the hunt. Use it on enemy gods as soon as Kaldr gets 3 lives. This will get very annoying to the enemy team. You can also use Kaldr to attack towers, and keep in mind that you can use him while under the effects of aegis amulet. Use your permafrost sparingly, mostly just to assist ally attacks, or to escape. Try to only go for the kill if an enemy slips up in their attack pattern, or does something stupid like trying to 1 v 3 your team.
Mid-game, try to deal as much damage to the tower/pheonix as you can, without engaging enemy gods. You can use your Ult to get kills pretty easily against people at low health. You can literally just use your ult to tower dive with kaldr because it makes him invincible AND puts him at full health. Maybe combine that with Piercing cold and your pretty much a killing machine. Kaldr can pretty much get kills on his own, but don’t solo to much… still try to stick with a melee character by your side.
Late Game, you can pretty much solo anyone. Kaldr kind of acts as your melee partner, and while he’s dealing immense damage to your enemy, you can swoop in and get the kill. Use permafrost to disorient escaping opponents, and finish them off with pretty much any combination of abilities.
When against an assassin, early game and late game don’t change much, but be more cautious during mid game, and use permafrost more often.
When against a mage or hunter don’t use Kaldr that often against him, you will just waste his health. Ranged characters can kill him easily when they see him coming. Use it when they least expect him, or if he’s coupled with your Ult.
Rushing The Titan
This was a joust strategy I used and won with 3 times in a row (don’t know how well it works on a conquest map). Man, it must have been annoying for the other team. Only use when you are level 15 or higher, and when there are no enemy gods near you (or if their dead with massive cooldowns)
After the enemy tower and phoenix are destroyed, and all enemies are pre-occupied with your allies, sneak past enemy minions, and rush the Titan. Man, this is such a noobie attack… and man it feels so good to win with it. Ult the titan with kaldr, and attack it with your basic attack, careful not to take any damage. If kaldr dies, back up, kill any enemy minion waves, and go back in with kaldr… repeat untill you win. No ally gods or minions needed.
Modification; if you want to take an even higher risk, buy blink rune as your second relic. While the phoenix is still alive, blink past it, and THEN rush the Titan.

My reason for commenting is to point out a couple things. One, at the end you say "Modification; if you want to take an even higher risk, buy blink rune as your second relic. While the phoenix is still alive, blink past it, and THEN rush the Titan.", There is no longer a blink relic, there is a flickering ritual (blink) that is a one time use blink that cost 750 each time (about to be 1000). (I'm dumb, there is a blink relic still, Thanks CirclesAreRound for pointing that out to me.)
And in regards to your description of Permafrost, the direction the enemy slides is not random, it is based on the direction they are current moving when the ability is activated on them or if they run into it after activation. Which opens up the chance to use this aggressively. If they keep coming at you and backing up, or keep trying to poke. when they are moving towards you, drop permafrost on or right in front of them, and they will slide into you. after dropping permafrost, hit them with kaldr and then Piercing Cold and Auto attacks. Works especially well if they are pushing on tower, but waiting on minions and keep trying to poke, slide them into the tower range while attacking.
