About me

Im Sato. Set is by far my best god but i am not a one trick. I play every god in the game except Nox. I am a jungle main i will play any god in the jungle and frag out as much as i can. Set is my sweat god

Why did i make this guide?
Ive had two Purple borders (in joust and Duel) and i like to help people because man some of you build like cheeks

We will discuss the builds and the incompletion of the joust build and different duel path and an explanation of the aa items only being in the duel section

Set is my favorite god and i really hope you enjoy this guide or it helps you. I personally think he is the strongest god in the game. The snowball you get is phenomenal and makes it easy to carry the ****ters in your ranked games but i absolutely cannot carry even dropping 28 kills and soloing fg. Sit back and enjoy!

CONQUEST the build.. yikes

So your probably asking. Why not crusher? Why not brawlers?
Build them. They are good but the 20% cooldown from Jotunn's helps snowball the early game. I absolutely hate this item but i only build it on Set, Hun Batz and Thor

Why do i build the ENTIRE transcendence tree?
I like power and pen.

Yes. Situational

Conquest and picking fights

In conquest when i hit lv2 i save my point. Why? The 2+1 combo does **** tons of damage

Wrong. The 3 does more if you can confirm it

Literally has gotten me plenty of kills and people think you're dumb for getting the 3 before the 2

Either that or once you're 3 get your 3 and gank duo.

Once you have jotuns ult on cooldown. Gank, any lane, take fights

Lv12 UPGRADE SHELL. no acception

Finished trans- spam your 2 in ult st your feet. Its practically infinite and procs your ult dmg, spawns dmg, and you can get 40 hydras procs off in your ult. Man. Thats balanced

Getting boddied?

Play back?
Idk dont be so stupid
Wait for relics
Your snowball is over. You fight like a assassin and wait for your team to fight. You either murder the people who run at your backline or you dive and kill

Joust. Incomplete build?

Its joust.. like.. you build as you go. No items are bad. Just be hybrid or full oneshot

Big facts no one respects you if you solo wue and pick an assassin

Build what you need. Anti heal, hp, prots, cooldown, if you need help with a cookie cutter build hit the dirt

Duel

I mean. Just run at them. If Set gets through hes practically a free win right?

I run at people like mad
That doesn't mean you should.

Do bull demon at 4 minutes in. Its incredible that his dps allows it and that bull demon actually spawns. Just do it without dieing

Okay! Why the ody bow?
Its really hard to end. People dont like losing so you auto them. Or the titan. Ody bounces. Its for dos purposes. Qins just cause. Ody is just good for ending

A competent can roll right over you with his / combo; Duel matchmaking sucks due to the low player count, so you're likely to be up against a competent player like Rexsi and you do not want him to have Ullr. has three damaging abilities that are fairly easy to land and a great escape/follow ability in his . is just annoying for AA attackers to deal with because you she can hit you twice with one ability, knock you up with another, chase you down/escape with another, and really mess you up with her ult, especially if she goes with and/or . As for , he's not so much of a threat as he is a tower camper until he gets his build online. If you can dominate him early, he's easy; if you let him get to late game by tower camping, he's a real PITA to kill before he kills you with his + combo. is similar, but he has a deploy-able pet and his passive gives him extra movement speed. Ultimately, think of playing in solo and what gods (aside from most warriors; being one of the exceptions) that you wouldn't want to face and ban those.

Well from my experience, Set has trouble dealing with most warriors, especially those auto attack based who can afford to build Nemean (like Bellona, Osiris or Vanama). Kali is a nightmare for any meele auto attack based character so she is another solid ban for me. Otherwise, allowing Ah muzen cab or Baka equals losing so those are my other two bans. Pele can be taken into consideration when it comes to banning, thats a good suggestion. As to He bo - you need to be very skilled to deal with Set early - he just does way too much damage and it is also much safer than Hebos damage. When it comes to Ullr, his burst is high, but Sets burst is even higher and much easier o fully confirm. As long as you dodge the axe, you are in the clear. While Pos and Vulcan are annoying, with enough movement speed, they can be dealt with - especially if you get ahead early outsecuring them on buffs and taking their blue.

As I said, my list was just a starting one based on what I remember Rexsi (a GM duelist) usually banned and/or had issues playing against. would definitely be a ban for me, but I don't think is that much of a threat and you can counter with an upgraded . I wish Sato would chime in because I don't play Duel.

Totally preference on how you build, but I much prefer or on Set. I can understand the CDR but you're getting 20% more right after and the two aforementioned options have more all game utility than a CDR option that deals less damage and falls off after 15 minutes.

Edit: Just read your note that mentions to pick up Brawler's but doesn't say what to swap with (could be implied to be Jotunn's but isn't clear).

Its just a better item for the early game. I hate Jo. I prefer Crusher so much more but i take my lead to the bank. And i always sell Jotunn's later. And like i said ill make a better guide if this one gets enough votes or ect.

Personally ide build brawlers every game but Jotunn's is just good if you have a lead. I get more ults. Ect. Ez high frag game

I've noticed you're providing builds for multiple game modes which is amazing! You can create them separately into different builds from the guide editor so they're easier to follow and switch between, rather than having them all following each other, making it a bit confusing for the newer players.

Thank you for your help. Im doing this from my phone so its a bit more difficult but if it gets good reviews or anything else ill probably make a better guide going through all the game stages and about dealing with some comps/gods Set is rough to play into. But we will see

Yeah I'm waiting for this. For work I have to ride shotgun with my boss for 2 hours+ at times. Would be able to get a good bit of guides written down in that time if the phone was usable lol.
