Wow, this is my favorite Ymir support build this season. It definitely trashes every other support build, and Rod of Asclepius slaps on Ymir.

I love it, keep up the good work! I would suggest rushing Soul Gem after boots for maximum efficiency.

A lot of this build just doesn't make sense for a support.

Supports typically build items that benefit your team (stuff like or ), and harm the enemy team (, , etc).

You have a lot of selfish items here ( early, , ).

Your reasoning behind just isn't good. You want more movement speed? That's the reason for picking this up? Unless you are actively coordinating with 2+ healers on your team (a unique scenario), there's no reason for you to get this.

I would suggest more experienced players like Branmuffin17, Kriega1, Devampi, or BigDamage to give further feedback, but I just took a look at your guide. That guide had the same issues as this guide, and you ignored a majority of the feedback those mentioned players provided.

Read the notes, it is a different take on Ymir. Based mainly on CCR. Otherwise you have the alternatives stated.

I'm just going to say would have been the better pick to hit the CCR cap.

Also breastplate is fine for supports boog if you want CD. it is however discussable if is better for some of them.

Yea breastplate is fine, but right after boots? He also builds bulwark and possibly urchin in the same build. That's three selfish items. He states in his notes pestilence is a good substitute for bulwark, which I think is the better option. I think thebes would be better over urchin on a support.

For , I would probably never go , either immediately after boots or later in the build. If you're looking for the high CDR, I think is a better fit...ult, and then after you've pulled whoever to you, gain the shield for more survivability and/or pressure from the explosion.

If you need early CDR, I'd consider , or in a non-Conquest setting, I might go into rush. For early phys protection, I'd either consider or .

Yes, I agree that is a good sub for Bulwark, and in fact is the superior choice to Bulwark for anti-heal. If anti-heal isn't necessary, I'd probably look to , , or maybe for the magical prots.

The BoV discussion was regarding supports that don't utilize Prid very well. Khepri for example.

Prid is still ok on Khepri. Fine for base stats and not a bad interaction like Horus or Fafnir.

At the same time, I think you can work around having to dedicate a spot to BoV if you don't want Prid. I prefer not to get Prid on Khep usually. You might do a combination of along with any of , , , or . Otherwise, just get Prid later like Kriega said as the base stats are still good overall.

See the thing is, I never build Breastplate in Support. Maybe if there was 4+ phys I could build it after Sov but im not a fan.

Boog, I think this is the same situation with the other Ares build, and isn't worth further discussion.

Funny enough, BoV / Bulwark / Urchin feels like an old-school S1 type of build.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
